🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 10 – Trust Your Training

You’ve done the work. Now it’s time to step back slightly and let your body absorb it.

Reduce the volume, keep things light, and focus on rest, hydration, and good habits.

There’s no need to chase fitness now — it’s already there.

Stay calm. Stay focused.

Trust everything you’ve built over the last 10 weeks.

You’re ready 👊

🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 9 – Prep Your Kit

Race day should feel familiar — not a surprise.

Make sure everything is ready:
Shoes you’ve already run in.
Kit you know is comfortable.
Nutrition you’ve already tested.

Nothing new on race day.

Remove as many unknowns as possible so you can focus on what matters — the run itself.

Preparation creates confidence.

🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 8 – Stay Balanced

At this stage, it’s about maintaining what you’ve built.

Keep your running consistent, but don’t neglect the small things:
Mobility, recovery, and strength still matter.

This is where many people start to pick up small issues — not from doing too much, but from neglecting the basics.

Stay balanced. Stay consistent.

Look after your body, and it will look after you on race day.

🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 7 – Plan Your Race🟢🔴🔵🟣

A good race doesn’t happen by accident — it’s planned.

Think about how you want to approach the run:
Start steady. Stay controlled. Build into it.

It’s easy to get carried away early, especially in a race environment. But the strongest runs come from patience and discipline.

Hold back early — and give yourself something to finish with.

That’s where the real progress shows.

🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 6 – Practice Race Pace🟢🔴🔵🟣

Now we start to sharpen things up.

Introduce short efforts at your expected race pace. These don’t need to be long — but they should feel purposeful.

This is about getting comfortable working at a slightly higher intensity without losing control.

You’re teaching your body:
“This is what race day feels like.”

The more familiar it feels, the more confident you’ll be.

🟣🔵🔴🟢🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Tip 5 – Build Distance🟢🔴🔵🟣

By now, your body should be adapting well — so it’s time to stretch things out.

Start to build your long run beyond 10K. This isn’t about pace — it’s about time on your feet and building confidence in your ability to go the distance.

Keep it controlled. Keep it steady.

When you’ve already gone further than race distance in training, race day feels far more manageable.

Confidence comes from preparation.
