![exp sharing exp, vol 3: gratitude
so at the beginning of the month i said to myself “let’s just actually be grateful” and here’s how it went:
(it’s the looong speech you weren’t waiting for 🤠)
- started installment 25 (i can’t beat the unc allegations for much longer but it looks nice over there for the most part)
- decided to go outside for .5 & witnessed some of the craziest crossover episodes ever. The Writer’s pen is literally a burning bush or something idk
- was inspired and hopefully inspired
- used some really good advice
- took some of my own advice
(it was hard but i think im actually a decent advice giver at least to me 😭)
- remembered some life lessons
(but am I applying them ?!? time will tell 🫡)
- worked on & with myself
- worked with friends & other great people :)
*cue scheming laugh*
- listened to some fire music
- made some good music (LITTLE BROTHERS FROM PHINEAS AND FERB IS WORSHIP Y’ALL I SWEAR)
- decided to keep studying music
- lifted a lil tiny bit 😇
there were so many thoughts, ideas, moments & plans
I wanted to catch ‘em all. couldn’t.
grateful for what i got (and didn’t get) to see.
- also remembered that I’m super privileged to have the basics and most of this stuff is cherry on top.
I don’t even think i’m doing as good as last year though (miss my berrien kids & Mrs. V & Evan) …. but I am doing better than last month (and the summer that was a rich time) so hopefully & workfully nov will be good 😌
Doing my best with what I got.
don’t think im posting music here anymore, go follow @shane.sound tho maybe something’s on the way idk art takes time among other things
25: so far, so good.
a lil scared but looking forward to what comes next.
excited to work.
not excited to look for work but i’m locking in it’s been real 😂 i’ll still be here but who knows when i’ll have time to post (me lol imma plan for it see y’all soon)
If you made it this far thanks, i’m looking into ways i can better yap about/through music, teaching, positivity, Jesus & how He’s good, etc.
till then take what you need 🤝🏾
(if it resonates, it’s okay if it doesn’t)
&
take.
