HGF kept the celebration and appreciation going today on the BMTU! 🎊✨

In honor of National Nurses Week, we continued celebrating the incredible BMTU nurses by delivering a well-deserved lunch from Saigon Hustle! 🍽️ Thank you to Saigon Hustle and Hidden Group for providing such a delicious pick-me-up for nurses as they continue caring for their patients. Additional meals and Vietnamese coffee for the night shift were also generously donated by Hidden Group! ☕✨

To top it all off, nurse appreciation goodie bags were distributed on the unit—special thank you to board member Shannon Ramirez for helping assemble the bags!💛

This week’s caregiver meals were provided by Chicken Salad Chick. Thank you for being a source of nourishment and comfort for BMTU caregivers, and thank you to volunteer Robbie Norville for helping distribute meals on the unit! 🥗✨

Last but certainly not least, HGF celebrated the mothers on the BMTU ahead of Mother’s Day by gifting them cherry blossom-themed gift bags filled with paper cherry blossoms, an Amazon gift card, a pink travel cup, and self-care items to bring smiles to their faces and remind them just how amazing, beautiful, and strong they are. 🌸💖 A heartfelt thank you again to Hidden Group for sponsoring and assembling the bags—your kindness and impact are truly appreciated! ✨

Taco ’bout a good time! 🌮🎉 This week started in full celebration mode! 🌸

Enrichments this week were a fiesta in a bag to celebrate Cinco de Mayo—complete with activity stickers, sweet Cinco treats, and a mini piñata—giving patients a chance to have their own little party right in their rooms! 🎊🍬
The Cinco de Mayo vibes kept going with staff appreciation gifts—“Happy Taco” squishies that brought lots of smiles. 🌮😊

The fun didn’t stop there… HGF rolled out a tea cart filled with snacks and tea for nurses and mothers to choose from, spreading extra joy in honor of National Nurses Week and Mother’s Day. 🌸☕️ We love celebrating the amazing nurses on BMTU and the incredible mothers on the unit who support their children every day. The tea cart made it easy for moms to grab a quick treat right at their room door to brighten their day!
A big thank you to Hidden Group for sponsoring the tea cart. 🌸

To round out the day, five Welcome Baskets were delivered to new patients on the unit to bring comfort and joy. Thank you again to Hidden Group for putting these together!

And thank you to today’s wonderful volunteers, Chris Jobe and Syeda Fatima, for helping pass out enrichments, Welcome Baskets, and assisting with the tea cart!

HGF is proud to provide enrichments, Welcome Baskets, and special treats on the BMTU to show support and appreciation. We couldn’t do this without our amazing partners, donors, volunteers, and community.

If you’d like to help HGF continue to bring comfort and joy to the BMTU, visit our website to learn how to donate or get involved in our mission of uplifting BMTU children and families. 💛

Today, our hands were full and our hearts even fuller. Thanks to @hiddengrouphtx the HGF team was able to deliver bundles of gifts to patients on the unit and their siblings, all thoughtfully chosen from our Christmas Wishlist. 🎁

We also continued the holiday fun with our Christmas Tree Farm, where patients picked a mini tree and chose a decoration theme. A huge thank you to @nationalcharityleagueinc Texas Sage Chapter for helping bring this beloved tradition to life. 🎄

That’s not all! Yesterday, Hidden Group HTX helped organize each present for today and cooked a fantastic meal for BMTU staff and caregivers. We are incredibly thankful for the start of this meaningful partnership.

Thank you to both teams for the kindness, care, and joy they brought to patients, families, and staff today. ❤️
