When you’re on a mission to push yourself to higher limits you MUST have people who will hold you accountable, challenge you, and help you grow along the way.

Brotherhood is knowing we’re all gonna make it. No envy. No jealousy. All love and support.
.
This is what true confidence in life and friendship looks like 💯

MEN, THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WE’RE NOT AS HEALTHY AS WE SHOULD BE.

And I’m not talking about diet or exercise.

This is a clip from the MANifest Men’s Health & Wellness Conference @manifestdetroit @affecting.change.charley earlier this year where I talked about something I believe we don’t talk about enough.

As men, we’re taught to be strong.

Don’t cry.
Don’t complain.
Don’t show that you’re hurting.
Just keep pushing.

So we do.

We carry the weight of our families, our careers, our responsibilities and everything else life throws at us.

And sometimes we carry it for so long that it starts weighing us down mind, body and spirit.

We put our health last. We ignore the stress. We ignore the signs. We keep telling ourselves we’ll deal with it later.

But eventually, later catches up with you.

Being strong also means taking care of yourself.

Sometimes you don’t need to push harder. Sometimes you need to RESET.

That’s why I’m doing a FREE LIVE 30-Day Reset on September 15 at 7 PM ET.

If you’ve been putting your health on the back burner, this is your sign to stop waiting and reset.

Comment “RESET” and I’ll send you the details.

Last week was my birthday, but what we built downtown Detroit was bigger than a birthday workout.

We brought people together to move, connect, network, laugh and celebrate life.

And THIS is what I believe wellness should look like.

Not just a workout.

An experience. A connection. A community.

That’s the kind of health culture I want to keep creating in our communities and inside organizations.

Because healthier people.

Stronger connections. Better culture.

That matters.

To everyone who came out, supported, partnered, helped make this happen or simply showed up — thank you. 🙏🏾

Now I’m curious…

What company, organization or community should we bring this energy to next? 👀

Tag them below.

We’re just getting started.

Your health shouldn’t be the price you pay for success.

But I’ve seen this happen a lot.

You get the promotion.
Your business starts growing.
More people depend on you.
Your calendar gets packed.

And somewhere along the way, you stop taking care of YOU.

“I’ll get back in the gym when things slow down.”

“I’ll eat better next week.”

“I just need to get through this busy season.”

Sound familiar?

Here’s the problem…

The busy season becomes your lifestyle.

Then you start feeling it.

Your energy isn’t the same.
Your stress is higher.
Your sleep is off.
You’re not moving like you used to.

And it doesn’t just affect your health.

It affects how you lead.

Your focus.
Your patience.
Your decision-making.
Your presence.

That’s exactly why I created the Executive Edge Method.

I help leaders make their health part of how they operate — instead of something they’ll get to when they “have time.”

Because you can be winning in your career…

and still be losing in your health.

I don’t believe you have to choose.

The goal is simple:

Healthy Mind. Healthy Body. Healthy Leader.

That’s the work I’m bringing to organizations through executive wellness workshops, leadership retreats and keynotes.

If you’re an HR leader, executive or business owner and your organization needs this conversation, comment EDGE or send me a DM.

Let’s have a conversation.

Let’s go to work! 💪👔💪

Turning 40 reminded me of something I’ve learned over the years…

The way people treat you often says more about them than it does about you.

This week, I received more calls, texts, posts, and messages than I could count.

Some came from people I talk to every day.

Some came from people I haven’t spoken to in years.

And some came from people I’ve never even met in person.

Every one of them reminded me how blessed I am to be surrounded by people who genuinely want to see me win.

As I get older, I realize how rare that is.

Real love doesn’t compete with you.
It celebrates you.

To everyone who took a moment to celebrate me…

Thank you for all the birthday love. 💙

Chapter 40. 🙏🏽

Many high achievers carry pressure in silence….thinking they need to just “push through” or “get more disciplined”

This is why I created this film.

To talk about why we all need to be able to work through our stuff and stop carrying it in silence.

For those who struggle with asking for help, this is your friendly reminder…real power comes from connection and not isolation.
.
I would be lying if I said it’s not hard. But asking for help has proven to help me time and time again.

Choose your circle wisely. If they’re not adding value, they’re subtracting energy...🤷🏿‍♂️
.
One thing is for sure, be mindful of who you’re spending time with and furthermore, why they deserve your time and energy.
.
Sometimes you have to pivot to level up and be satisfied with how your life is going.
.
If you have trouble with this, don’t be afraid to reach out for support 🙌🏿🙌🏿
