Hidden Operator - In Orbit (KONTRAKESS01)

Out of the murk and into the murmur. Hidden Operator surfaces with a feverish transmission from a submerged realm, summoned jointly by Malmö’s Kontra-Musik and Kess Kill. Two labels like twin scars spitting static.

Hidden Operator conjures environments. Half dungeon, half dancefloor. Think rusted metal, think sweat on PVC, think poltergeists humming in a blown speaker. The record isn’t nostalgic—it’s necromantic. Feet move, ears twitch, logic unravels. You’re not supposed to get it—you’re supposed to feel it.

Out soon on wax and wave. Play loud. Confuse your neighbours.

Kontra-Musik and Kess Kill hold hands in a burning telephone booth - two labels dancing backwards through a mirror, cackling. Together they release a record by Hidden Operator, made of riddles and ruin. Dub coughs in the corner. Proto techno slips on oil. UK hardcore gurgles something unspeakable before melting into a slo-mo house groove with a hangover.

Release announcement:
Hidden Operator – In Orbit (KONTRAKESS01)

A fever broadcast from the fog.
Dub coughs. Body music slips. UK hardcore melts into lo-fi house with a limp and a curse.
Nothing makes sense. That’s the point.

Kontra-Musik & Kess Kill join forces for this cryptic séance—think dungeon rave meets broken photocopier.
Basslines stumble. Drums forget. Synths mumble bedtime stories to your spine.
It’s not nostalgia. It’s necromancy.

Half dancefloor, half poltergeist.
Play loud. Confuse your neighbours. Alarm your pets.
Out soon on wax & wave.

Available to preorder via CLONE + Bandcamp now. Release Sept 8 2025.

I recorded my first dj-mix since before the pandemic. 2019 to be more precise. This one contains a lot of unreleased goodies, to be released on Kontra-Musik in the near future. Airing through Mutant Radio today at 17:00 Central European Time. Hope you enjoy. I did while recording.
