NEW SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Lil DIY indie/emo/punk show, gang!!

Headliners @tummyachemusic are just completely incredible…Rooted in DIY, community and mutual care and respect, they’re a super intense, raw and emotional live experience. Their music draws on art-rock, indie, post-hardcore and emo and lands somewhere between Unwound, Radiohead, Big Thief and Slint. I saw em in Bristol in the summer and fell hook, line and sinker. So much so i almost missed the last train home. Genuinely over the moon to have them play for us here in Trowbridge.

This is a band for whom the music is only the beginning. In a world that’s burning up and tearing itself apart all we really have is each other. To (mis)quote the Hotelier, its family, friends, community and DIY bands…At the show we’ll have zines and literature from local organisations in amongst the usual tees and records. Together we can help each other and we can live in the moment and we can make the moment special…and maybe even turn off our phones?

And along for the ride, @chasingdolls - a band you should already know…the romantic face of art-rock influenced emo revival, they take the mathy, twinkly guitars of Algernon and Snowing and combine it with the poetry of Blue Aeroplanes and the thrill and urgency of new wave, indie and punk…i love this band SO much…and live they are something else…

And opening the night London’s @hidingfrommirrors - super young tweemo/skramz/shoegaze kids with a trumpet…think Everyone Asked About You and The Lazarus Plot by way of Indian Summer and Vs Self…They played the London date of Steatopygous’ summer tour and i asked them to come to Trowbridge there and then…yr gonna frickin love em…

Tix always cheaper in advance (link in bio), even cheaper for unwaged and NOTAFLOF…

I’ll see you down the front…

xx

TOMORROW! Death of Youth headline a frankly ridiculous bill of the Capital's best and brightest post-hardcore/screamo at the Old Blue!

If you're into the likes of Touche Amore (all that Wave stuff really), Departures etc etc, you'll love DOY. They released a full-length, Nothing is the same anymore, earlier this year - check it out in all the usual spots.

Support comes from Inner Dog, Hiding From Mirrors and Christina Carpenter.

Pack yer earplugs, gonna be a loud one.

£10 adv, more OTD, NOTAFLOF (chuck us a message), tix on Dice, link in bio.

Listened to Inner Dog yet?

The London post-hc lot are main support this Weds at the Old Blue, along with Death of Youth, Hiding From Mirrors and Christina Carpenter.

I bloody love this band. Expect 11/10, in-the-red intensity, unexpected shots of melody and some gloriously off-kilter riffage.

Check out their three singles, 'Smoke Mirror', 'Bears Eat Honey' and 'Truths' right bloody now.

£10 advance, tix on Dice, link in bio. Cheaper in advance, so grab one now! Or give us a shout if unwaged/skint and we'll sort you out x
