A year ago this book I wrote in 2021 was released by @hidingpress / @hidingplacebooks. Cover painting is still by @n.stath, design by @gordons_implicit_dogma. I have a handful of copies left, and I think HP does too. I’m still very proud of this poem as a testament to living with the things god must pity us for, and our attempts to use some kind of narrative magic to godjack the power to change those things right. Or if you prefer, it’s a funky long poem about scifi android pirates and ghosts in a microworld. There’s probably AI in it too, though none was involved in its writing. God forbids that and always will.

Happy holidays to all Palestine supporters in Philly! This month, consider supporting local bookstores, cultural orgs, presses and publications that have committed to PACBI (the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel).

Don’t see your favorite bookstore, cultural org, press or publication listed? Consider reaching out to ask if they’d like to join organizations around the world in committing to cultural boycott to end genocide.

Learn more about PACBI at:

The Palestinian liberation struggle calls on us to engage with the world—including the literary world—as political actors and not just passive consumers. Call on your editors and publishers to join the academic and cultural boycott of Israel, to reject the vice grip Zionism has on the story of Palestine, to embrace a freedom beyond words. Now is the time for collective, coalitional bravery and imagination. Boycott until victory❣️

Got my inscribed copy of Buffy Cain’s new book of text-portraits “in bloom” - the text titled N is based in some writing we did together for my show Okok at Lars Friedrich in Berlin in 2017. I love what Buffy’s done with it. Grab your copy at Hiding Press’s website. Congrats @buffbuffbuffb 💕
