Had a great weekend up at the Woodstock Film Festival with a bit of a TEST team reunion! I was joined by our producer Daryl Freimark, actor Evan Hall, DP Ava Benjamin Shorr, editor Jon Higgins and our lawyer Patrick Kondas. It was extra special because Ava was nominated for Best Cinematography, Jon for Best Editing, and TEST for Best Narrative Feature. We didn’t win, but man we were in great company. Huge thanks to @woodstockfilmfestival for having us.

OUTFEST IS BACK! Thank you @outfest for a beautiful hometown LA Premiere of TEST, and a huge thanks to everyone who came to see the film and support. We are deeply grateful to @christopherracster and all of the programmers, board members and volunteers who invited us and made for such a fantastic experience. We are so thrilled Outfest is back and we got to be a part of it. Long live Outfest! 🙌🏼❤️🎥🌈

Also massive thanks to @instinctmagazine and @thequeerreview for such thoughtful reviews, OMG we were gagged. ✍️

I watched the film "Your Monster" this afternoon. I really liked it! Your Monster is a thought-provoking, emotionally moving, and quirky fantasy-tinged dramedy with a sly humorous wit, intriguing characters, and a tender heart.

The superb script by director Caroline Lindy tells a pensive story about relationships, mortality, dreams, confidence, rage, and connection. There are also some excellent musical numbers.

Melissa Barrera & Tommy Dewey star in phenomenal nuanced performances and have fantastic chemistry with each other. Barrera has such a powerful performance while Dewey's has a lot of charm. There are also some superb performances from Edmund Donovan, Meghann Fahy, Kayla Foster, and Ikechukwu Ufomadu.

The cinematography is well done by Will Stone, and it is accompanied by a great soundtrack by The Lazours and a score by Tim Williams. It's expertly edited by Daysha Broadway & Jon Higgins. There is also some spectacular costume design(Matthew Simonelli), set decoration(Sarah Dawn Hamlin), art direction(Abigail Rieger), production design(Brielle Hubert), and effects. Caroline Lindy did a terrific job directing this delightful, amusing, and yet, at times, downbeat dramedy that I would recommend.

I binged the series "Free Bert" over the past couple of days. I really enjoyed it! Free Bert is a fun, hysterical, and heartfelt comedy injected with humorous, irreverent wit and likable flawed characters.

The show created and fantastically written by Andy Mogel, Jarrad Paul, and star Bert Kreischer tells a thoughtful fish out of water story about identity, family, elitism, and being yourself.

Bert Kreischer leads a great ensemble cast that includes Arden Myrin, Ava Ryan, Lilou Lang, Mandell Maughan, Chris Witaske, Braxton Alexander, Matthew Del Negro, Robert Mello, and Noshir Dalal.

The cinematography is well done by Brandon Cox, and it is accompanied by a really good soundtrack and score by Jeff Cardoni. It's nicely edited by Jon Higgins & John Rafanelli. It has some solid costume design(Bisola Salimonu & Barbara Vazquez), set decoration(Nik Morgan), and production design(Molly Coffee). Andy Mogel & Jarrad Paul did a superb job directing this cute, hilarious, and offbeat comedy that I would highly recommend. I'm really hoping for a season two.

🚨New film inbound🚨

Making my new short Baquine Friends Forever was one of the most special things I’ve ever done. I can’t wait for y’all to see it next year.

This film only happened because of the incredible cast and crew that decided to make it with me. I’m forever thankful to all of them for spending two nights running around the streets of Brooklyn in 30 degree weather to make this happen.

This ig is about to become a cast and crew appreciation account so prepare yourself for a bunch of earnest posts about the joy of filmmaking!

Thank you to @jmejusten who designed this poster as well as our titles and credits. She’s the best and everyone should hire her to work on your films!
