The digital poster has been sent out to the crowdfunding backers who donated to the 'Run Fast' tier or higher! This picture here didn't make it as the poster, but was a close second contender. We love that it has our core four actors and you can see the care and detail put into their costuming, and the set dressing! But, ultimately we leant into the spooky vibes with our final design, and we really hope you like it. For those of you who donated to that tier or higher, the final poster should be in your inbox now. If you haven't received it, please DM me here. :) Thank you once again to anyone who donated, our fabulous actors, and all the amazing crew who put their time and effort into making this film the best it could be. You are all super stars! Photo by @brickcommanderx

We had a wrap party! I didn't get any photos because I was too busy having fun, so have one of our cast and crew photos as penance! Thank you so, so much everyone, once again, we all worked really hard to bring this film to life and I am so excited to get stuck into editing. I think this will be a fantastic short film when we are through! You are all superstars, and hope to shoot with you all again soon! Please note, there are a few people not pictured, and we celebrate you also! Photo by @brickcommanderx

WE ARE HALF WAY THERE! We don’t have long to go, just two days! But we’ve hit our half-way mark! Thank you so, so much to everyone who has donated so far. You’re helping us to shine a light on an important issue, while also giving us a way to express ourselves creatively. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of our hearts. <3 BUT, with only 2 days left to go, we have some work to do! PLEASE KEEP DONATING! Every little bit counts. If you even have $5 to send our way, that could be the difference between this film getting made or not. You can find out more on how to support us on our crowdfunding page, linked in our bio! Vanja Fischer is playing MARIS in ’44 Home’. She said: "I'm so excited to be in 44 Home as it is such timely subject matter on domestic violence, whilst bringing awareness through a visionary authentic point of view. As a mumma myself, I am excited to explore the complexity of teenage awkwardness with all the nuanced friendships weaved in. I am especially excited for the stunts and fast paced action, which is an amazing experience. With such young and innovative Director and Writer 44 Home leaves you wanting more." You can find out more about Vanja over on our crowdfunding page, linked in our bio! Photo by @brickcommanderx

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We could not make this film without you! But, if you haven’t donated and would still like to help us bring this important film to life, you still have time. We have 8 days left on the campaign! Why do we think this film is important? We think this film is very topical right now as more young people are questioning family dynamics and confronting abuse. Obviously, in our project we take things to the extreme, but we feel this film has something to say about abuse and safety for women and children in Australia. 28 women were killed by a current or former intimate partner in 2025, and 1 in 4 women (23%) have experienced intimate partner violence since age 15. We hope that this film, although only one story, explores this very relevant cultural issue. We hope for your support to make this film. Even just $5 will help us immensely. :) Please donate at the LINK IN OUR BIO. Photo by @brickcommanderx

MANNA 🏕️ I got the absolute privilege of working with my kindred spirit @highchilde_art on her debut feature film for a couple days as AD, and director for Vanja. I learnt a lot and had the best time with this terrific crew. I cannot WAIT to see the feature, keep an eye out for it because it’s going to be something so so special! ❤️✨ #featurefilm #wamadefilm #femalefilmmaker #femaledirector #actress #actor #filmmaking #perthfilmmakers #perthcreators #perthactors #mannafeaturefilm #australianfilm
