A look back at our recent music trivia at @jnjbookscoffee in Madrid. Great crowd, tricky questions, lots of fun and singing… and one winning team: Army of Queens 👑 It was not easy, but they kept their cool through the toughest rounds and claim the crown.

Will they defend it? We’ll find out on Thursday, April 9, when we’re back for a new round. Save the date in your calendars. More info soon.

2008- The video that started my whole process of covering the @mbvofficial “Loveless” album.

The guitar parts I came up with to be able to jam along with the record. So even though im playing a fingerpicking part, it fits with the actual record.

A lot of these lyrics I was just making up because it’s very difficult to tell exactly what is being said and there are no lyrics released by the band.

I was contacted by an obscure YouTube account by someone who was claiming to be Kevin Shields (frontman of MBV) and he said I got the lyrics closer than anyone ever had. I tend to believe it was actually him based on a few other things he told me.
