I can't believe I got this shot of the NSX with the world famous Lone Cypress tree, the symbol for Pebble Beach and one of the most photographed trees in the world. I've visited this spot for years and it's always packed with cars and people, but it was empty this day and made for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity of one of my favorite cars at such an iconic and special place.

It was also pretty cool to get so many awesome shots of the car all over 17-Mile Drive and down Highway 1, for some amazing roads, views, and nostalgia.

Gutted and disappointed to receive a mechanical black flag while running 5th with 30 minutes to go and a decent shot at a top-5 and maybe a top-3. We had a tough weekend working through challenges but the team, pit stops, and Bob's driving put us on contention for a solid result until our differential vent line started smoking a little and we were called in for a DNF. At least this weekend the photographers caught some smiles, so I'm remembering how to smile again with my new teeth! 😁 On to the next one!
