“What happens if you write a tune and suddenly it goes viral? That’s how Make Me got signed.” 🌀

Back in 2019, @borai_bristol and @denhamaudio breakbeat weapon ‘Make Me‘ seemed to appear everywhere -hitting 1 million plays overnight before vanishing just as quickly from Spotify and Bandcamp which left many wondering why they couldn’t get hold of it. 🎶🤷‍♂️

The track then found new life through DJ support, from @lalaselector @mixmag Lab set to a surge of TikTok buzz, cementing it as a modern underground classic.

Borai reflects on sampling Donna Allen’s 1986 track Serious, navigating virality as an underground artist, and the unexpected path to a Sony release.

Now focused on @clubglow_ , Borai continues building community through nights like this unforgettable one at @thecroftbristol.

Huge thank you to @borai_bristol for sharing this story & @thecroftbristol for getting us involved 🤎

It’s time for @higherlevel.recs to head back to the mighty @crofters_rights and boy have we secured a special guest for you!

@settledown_uk is not to be trifled with. A producer with over 10 years in the game, he is emerging as one of the leading lights of todays 140-160bpm breakbeat scene with a brace of dancefloor weapons spread over such labels as E-Beamz, Hardcore Energy, Blueskinbadger and Western Lore.

The boys will be going back 2 back for the whole duration of the night, showcasing their shared love of all things breakbeat.

And we back at the @crofters_rights again!

This time with the link up of all link ups….🔗🤝🔗

In the 🟨 corner we have @overandout.uk head honcho @xander.sounds recently moved back to Bristol and raring to get to smashing the city’s dance floors! You’ve heard tales of his powers behind the decks…now see come them in person 🙌

Opposite him in the 🟪 corner…the ever effervescent, fabulously multi facetted and all round legend in his own lunchtime…the mighty @beltersmag
Freshly rejuvenated after his round the world travels, and back to doing what he does best (single handedly holding up the entire Bristol meme scene 😝)

We can’t wait to see these two battle it out for dancefloor supremacy!

To witness this immense event it will cost you only 6 of your beer tokens and tickets can be grabbed in the usual place.
