Big thank you to everyone that has supported and contributed to this amazing album and chapter in my life. It’s been 1 year since Shameless Nocturnal hit the streets. It came with so many lessons, frustrations, achievements and hopes that I’m forever grateful for where this music led us. @its_nothingspecial_ok and I spent years cooking this to perfection in a Philadelphia basement to represent all the creatives with double lives out there. All the people who do what they have to do in the day so they can chase dreams all night. Here’s to y’all. Our debut album, “Life Noir” is finally out today!

It’s been many years in the making, coinciding with me coming out and also starting my transition. The band has worked so hard to make this happen amidst financial and housing hardships, and so much time on the road on self booked and promoted tours. I think these songs really show the work and the love we have for playing, and it feels amazing to have music so reflective of such a difficult period of my life be released, especially now that I feel more relief everyday. Thank you to all our friends and family who have and continue to help and support us, and thank you to all the queer and trans folk who talk to us after shows yall keep us going 💜

“LIFE NOIR” - The first single and title track of our debut album is out everywhere to stream

Life Noir is one of the first songs I started writing amidst coming out in 2020. Between the tension in the city that summer and the loss of control over my identity, I could never sleep. Going for walks late at night while the city was dead silent in lockdown became a strange and surreal escape. The city this song is about feels almost imaginary at this point, and I’m very proud Life Noir has become a staple of our live sets to bring it back in a more positive and expressive manner. Even happier that it’s finally out :)

Firstly I want to say thank you to everyone that’s been supporting this album and my journey over the past year. 5 months ago when this first dropped I was in a much more stable place (I had a job) and although my life in some ways is less stable now, I’ve never felt more solid, sure and supported in what I’m doing and the path I’m walking. I haven’t done physicals for a project in 6 years but I really want to give myself and the people who were a part of this every possible chance to remember this moment in time. ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ CD’s available for pre order.
