Trial Recap 🐾
Last Sunday we welcomed our Mondioring Community to Motley Crew Mondio for a lakeside trial! I wasn’t able to capture everything, but this community is inspiring.

8 competitors, all three levels represented, and so much sportsmanship and support. Being able to be part of your training journeys as a decoy and watch each team grow is such a gift.

Clips of Alex, Sarge, and Arieyl for attention 💙

Would you participate in a sport with your dog? Let me know in the comments!

Ruben Von Castle FR2
NARA’s First Ring 2 Doberman

Ruben and I earned our second leg of our Ring 2 with a 246 out of 300. Definitely not our most ideal trial set up, with a last minute decision to enter, a couple days of prep, and hot humid weather. But we managed to pull through with a passing score and had many improvements on what we had been focused on over the summer.

There are plenty of people to thank for this to become reality, first Indiana Ringsports for hosting a trial for us to compete at. Ari for the fair judging and critique. And most importantly my club, Perimeter Working Dog Club, for the support each member has provided. Along with our decoys, @yourfanclub55 @beng_615 @baz31894 for teaching and tolerating Ruben and I. And of course Castle Dobermans, @mariemiller1964 and @debizepick for giving me this opportunity and dog to make history for the breed with. And @highmarkdobermans for connecting us and the support on understanding what it’s like with a Doberman in Ring.

2024 USMRA Nationals is completed! Congratulations to all competitors for showing this weekend in quite the hot and humid conditions! A great program was created for each of the levels and the field help and decoys did a phenomenal job at bringing it to life and having things run smoothly!

Here are your Level 3 competitors in a quick highlight reel! I will be working on edited videos this week and hope to get them to everyone soon as I also wrap up WDSF and other photoshoots! Next up is Cody, Wyoming for @yellowstone_psa first trial - Trouble at the Train Station. I can’t wait to get out there!

(I tried to find everyone to tag but comment or message me to be added)

Mr Silly Goose is off to a new, much happier, chapter in his life. He starts his trip to meet his new family this morning! He'll never have to go through being hungry and alone again as he's off to live with his dad's amazing owners!

After just under 2 weeks he looks like a different dog! He has gained so much weight and muscle and shown us just how resilient he truly is! I'll miss him but am so excited to see him continue to thrive!

My saint of a mom offered to embark on ANOTHER 8 hour drive to help get him to his new home as soon as possible, she is definitely the hero of his story as i dont know how I'd have managed all this without her!

Wishing them safe travels!
