SUMMER RECAP! I am so incredibly grateful for this summer and this upcoming chapter in my life! I’m also so grateful for the friendships I made this summer!

What good is an outpouring without a vessel to receive it? I’ve been obsessed with Mary of Bethany this year. We only see her three times in scripture. In Luke 10, she’s learning from Jesus. In John 11, she’s grieving the loss of her brother, carrying a broken expectation because Jesus didn’t show up “on time”. Only to experience the miracle of resurrection when Jesus arrived on His time. And in John 12, we find her giving a costly gift, an extravagant offering of worship by anointing Jesus before His death with perfume that cost a year’s wage. In every story, she’s found doing the same thing - sitting at the feet of Jesus. That’s where I want to be found. I want this to be the posture of my life. I want to be where He is. If He’s pouring something out, I want to be there to receive it in every season. Learning. Grieving. Giving.

this week was beyond powerful. what an honor it was to serve for high point youth ministry. Jesus has always been the answer and this week I got the privilege of seeing teenagers realize that.

What an incredible week walking with God. Starting with Camp Summit (@highpoint.yth), then the Golgotha Relay, and ending with getting baptized (@myhighpointchurch). This week was such a huge step in my journey with Him.

Today I didn't plan on getting baptized, but God had other plans for me. I have believed in Jesus for a long time and had already been baptized before, but this past week at Camp Summit completely changed my heart. God opened my eyes in ways I can't fully explain and showed me what it truly means to surrender everything to him. I made the decision to get baptized again not because I had to, but because I wanted to publicly declare that I'm going all in with Jesus. No turning back. No holding anything back. Just choosing him every single day. This isn't the end of my story this is just the beginning of a deeper walk with Christ.

It has been a blessing growing under the leadership of HighPoint church. They showed me what it means to serve and honor others. Being in close proximity to people who are so close to Jesus is life changing. They gave me the opportunity to be in rooms I didn’t belong in and it has truly opened my eyes. I got to see the outcome of my obedience at camp, God arrived and this past week marked so many people. I am amazed that God would use me to share who he is and I’m forever grateful for the positions he put me in to exercise my faith. I’m excited to step into my college life with Jesus at the center and can’t wait to see where he leads me. • Galatians 6:17- From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body the marks of Jesus
