DON’T listen to naysayers.

⬇️What I would tell my younger self⬇️
••••
Nobody knows what brings you joy, sense of purpose, or passion better than YOU.

I’ve followed the lead of my peers. Although their hearts were in the right place, I was often disappointed that I didn’t listen to my gut.

1. Don’t seek validation - set your course, stay on target, don’t let others sway you from your values and ethics. If you want to do something, fucking do it. You don’t need permission to take action.

2. Be Authentic- you’ll never make everyone happy, so you might as well stick to your guns.

If you surround yourself with the wrong ones, you’ll never hold room for the right ones.

3. Balance - it’s good to be driven. Take time to balance your life with health, quality time, and gratitude to keep up the momentum.

You only have one life to live, best to not waste it in this free land 🇺🇸

“When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it’s time to reform (or pause and reflect).” - Mark Twain
