SEVEN YEARS at my favorite place on earth‼️ I’ve been a part of this place longer than any desk job I’ve ever had. It feels like it’s been simultaneously 2 years and a lifetime! @highridecycle really knows how to make a girl feel special!! Looking back at who I was when I auditioned in 2019 and who I am today is night and day. This place has seen me be a brand new CO resident, survive a long distance relationship, make it through COVID, get engaged, get married, get TWO dogs, change my day job 4x, buy my first home, and have a literal child. Through all the life changes, this place and these people will forever be my constant, the space I can go to be lifted up and reminded of my power. Being an instructor is such a privilege. To get to lead a room full of people through 45 minutes where they get to disconnect, tap into their strength, work on overcoming mental roadblocks and reset the energy they take with them outside that studio door is something I treasure so dearly. Being able to continue to do this after stepping into motherhood has meant so much to me and is such an important part of getting to feel like myself along the way. Thank you to every single rider, instructor, front desk ray-of-sunshine, studio manager, and even barista @smhanson1 for everything you do to make High Ride the magical, transformative place it is. I don’t know who I’d be without this place and frankly I don’t plan on finding out. You’ll have to bury me under the podium!🪦

Cardio isn’t just about burning calories or a good sweat. It’s about training the muscle that keeps you here. Your heart, lungs, circulation, endurance, energy, brain health, longevity + quality of life all benefit from regular cardio. And as women, we need to stop treating cardio like the thing we should probably do and start treating it like a non-negotiable part of taking care of ourselves. Find a workout you actually enjoy and don’t skip it. Your future self will thank you. @highridecycle
