Part 2: How to protect your child’s future

👂🏼Hear what Financial Advisor Jerry has to say about securing enough financial aid $ into your trust to protect your child’s future.

📌 As behavior analysts working in the field directly with families, it’s important to have knowledge and resources to provide to families to reduce various environmental variables (stressors) that can make a direct impact on our own services.

📌 As professionals working in the field directly with families, it’s important to have knowledge and resources to provide to families to reduce various environmental variables (stressors) that can make a direct impact on our own services.

😟 If a parent is worried about their childs future (child’s’ therapy finances, childs future care, etc) how likely are they to succeed or prioritize our parent training goals? 🧐

My guess is NOT very likely. 🚫

🤨 Would our parent goals even matter given all the other outside environmental variables or stressors that play a role in parents participating in our services?

💪🏼 This is why our BCBAs are equipped with knowledge pertaining to other resources available to parents including referrals to clinical psychologists, marriage family therapists, IEP advocates and counsel, financial advisors, and other service providers like pediatricians, OTs, and Speech therapists.
