The surprise I wasn’t sure if I could pull off, but the proof to show I did. 😅

I told Trent weeks ago that I would love to partner with a local pizza company and have a family beach picnic with photos. Fast forward: I got the positive test, and my mind started racing trying to figure out how I wanted to surprise him - and then it hit me. PIZZA + PHOTOS.

I told him I reached out to a local pizza place, and they were really excited about the opportunity and asked if we could do them that day (they didn’t want them that day, but I did😉). I knew it was a risk if he said no, but thankfully he said, “I know you’ve talked about it before, so let’s go ahead and go for it.” @pizzabythesea

I had a photographer that I had chatted back and forth with, and thankfully she was available and down for the idea. @loverachelphoto

I designed the onesie and had someone local make it weeks before I knew I was pregnant, just hoping that IF I was, I wouldn’t be scrambling for that. @highstrung.designs

PIZZA ✅ PHOTOS ✅ ONESIE ✅

We set it up to be a lifestyle shoot, and she told us to pose + casually open the pizza boxes as if we were going to eat the pizza. Not even seeing what was in his pizza, he saw our box with a onesie and letter. TOTAL SHOCK. Thanks to Jude wanting to eat actual pizza, Trent finally noticed that his box had a pizza that said, “BABY #2.” Worth all of the chaos + hurdles to get it set up. 🥰The reactions caught on camera and family photos we have are priceless. 🤍

Thank you so much to all that made it possible. You’re the real MVPs. 🥹

Yesterday I held my first clean up event for our community and of course it didn’t go as planned 😂 we had maybe 10 people show up which we were super grateful for, but really hoping to make it atleast 50 families next year!

One thing I’m never afraid of is failure, because I know that each time I fall.. I learn.. I want to leave a positive footprint on this world one way or another and I’m doing my best to figure out what that is going to look like.. and I won’t give up till my soul feels so fulfilled

Soooo friends.. mark your calendars for next year (April 22, 2026) it’s a Wednesday, because I’m going to make this an annual event, and I’m planning on going much bigger next year! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, and supported the event! If you have something on your heart and you want to implement it, but aren’t sure how.. reach out.. I’d love to help!
