Last night recap! I had the pleasure of being invited to the @shemeansbusinesswakefield Soirée, and what a wonderful evening it was. I may not live in Wakefield, but I think running the @wakefieldfarmmk earned me an invitation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. It was one of those nights that reminded me why I love being part of this community. From the beautiful charcuterie and bites by @lifelovecheese , to live music, sweet treats, and conversations with so many kind, community-driven women, every part of the evening felt genuine and welcoming. As someone who believes so deeply in creating community through food and supporting local businesses, nights like this fill my cup. Thank you to everyone who made me feel so welcome. This is what it’s all about.

What an incredible evening. ❤️ A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for last night’s Farm-to-Table Dinner at @lifelovecheese . This wasn’t just dinner—it was a celebration of local food, local farms, and the incredible community that forms when passionate people come together around the table. Every plate highlighted the best of our local growing season with beautiful produce from @moonlightfarm.ma , @northbostonfarm , Kelly’s Farm, @farmerdaves_ma , and @brookdale.fruit.farm , thoughtfully paired with artisan cheeses and yogurt from @blackeyedsusansheepdairy , @mozzarellahouse , and an incredible selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. It’s evenings like this that remind me why I do what I do. Supporting local isn’t just about buying food—it’s about creating connections, telling stories, and building community. I’m not usually one for networking events. Despite what you see on social media, my anxiety gets sky-high before these things. The thought of spending hours pitching myself to strangers can send me into a full-blown meltdown while I’m getting ready. But I put on the high heels, the mascara, and headed out anyway and ended up having one hell of a time. Not only did I have so much fun, but I met some incredible humans, ate great food, sipped delicious mocktails, and left feeling genuinely inspired. The panel of speakers got my creative juices flowing and reminded me why community and connection matter so much. A huge thank you to @jackiezuk and the @nextonscene team for putting together such a fantastic event. I’m so glad I pushed past the nerves and showed up.
