This is the last one… maybe just for a while. Maybe the last one of this sort. I’ve spent time looking for beautiful photographs and worthy thoughts. Most of them are things I need to work on and need help with. Notice I didn’t post any thoughts about delivering anesthesia, something with which I am somewhat proficient at. I shared things I am not good at but strive to become like. I also did it as an exercise of defiance at the prevailing rot destroying us. There are still good people everywhere. There are thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and loving people all around us. And we can do something of good too. This has largely been an act of futility like Cato fighting Caesar’s grab at power in their day. Cato fought an overwhelming circumstance and an overwhelming foe because he believed in the ideals of the Roman Republic. I believe in the divinity and nobility of the human spirit. And I believe there is enough beauty and truth still left in the world to try. Maybe I will come back to this. Perhaps not. But I am glad to have tried for a time to do some small thing of good in a world and society filled with the opposite hue. May God guide your feet to make the space around you just a little bit better than you found it. Your brother in Jesus…
