For a long time, I knew exactly who I wanted to become.
The hardest part was becoming disciplined enough to actually meet that version of myself.

I’ve started things and stopped.
I’ve doubted myself.
I’ve disappointed myself.
And I know there are people who probably don’t believe I’ll follow through this time either.

And that’s okay.

I’m learning that you don’t change your life by convincing people you’re different.
You change it by showing up when nobody cares.
By doing the work when nobody is watching.
By keeping promises to yourself, even on the days you don’t feel like it.

Little by little, you stop talking about who you want to become…

and you start becoming him.

This is bigger than boxing for me.
It’s about proving to myself that I can finish what I start.
They don’t have to believe in me yet.

I’m starting to believe in myself.

🎶 Music By: DJ Turmeric Root ELLE Nocturnal ✨ More TBA
Event by: Funtastic Daytastic & Hip-Turn-It Sessions
Come join us for an afternoon and evening of music, community, connection, movement, nature, and good vibes in one of Toronto's most beloved parks.
Hip-Turn-It in the Park was created from a simple idea:
Everyone deserves access to music, community, culture, and meaningful social experiences.
These gatherings are especially created for people who, for various reasons, may not be able to attend traditional late-night events, but still want to remain connected to the music and community they love.
Whether due to family responsibilities, health challenges, mobility limitations, recovery journeys, work schedules, transportation challenges, or simply a preference for daytime living, this gathering is for you.
We believe there is something beautiful about gathering together under the sun, sharing food, dancing in the park, making new friends, and creating memories through music.
Bring: 🧺 A picnic blanket 🥗 Snacks to share 💧 Water 💃 Your dancing feet ☀️ Good energy
Expect: 🎶 Uplifting music 🪘 Dancing & drumming 🌳 Nature & community 💛 Healing vibes 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-friendly atmosphere 🥗 Potluck-style gathering 🤝 New friendships & connections
💛 COMMUNITY SUPPORTED EVENT 💛
There is no admission fee to attend.
We create these gatherings purely out of our love for music, DJ culture, community connection, and the daytime lifestyle.
If you enjoy what we're building and would like to support future events, donations are warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Every contribution helps support equipment, transportation, event supplies, artist support, and helps us continue bringing these gatherings to parks across Toronto.
Our dream is to grow Hip-Turn-It in the Park into a regular bi-weekly community gathering that remains accessible, welcoming, and rooted in positive community values.

The trailer made it home in one piece, but a piece of my heart is still somewhere in the middle of Kn¿where... 💜

I've been unpacking everything this experience invited me to feel, and I know I'll be integrating it all for a long time to come. ☮️💫

Fair warning: this probably won't be my last @knwherefest post. Some experiences are far too meaningful not to share, celebrate, and preserve. ✨🌈🛸

Psyaatri is the psychedelic transmission of Sagar Mehta, emerging from New Delhi and drifting between dimensions of sound. What began as a love for dubstep spiraled into a deeper calling after a transformative moment in Parvati Valley—where music stopped being heard and started being experienced.

Since then, he’s moved through global psytrance gatherings, absorbing frequencies and reshaping them into his own dark, hypnotic language. As the founder of Galat Events, he creates spaces where chaos and connection collide.

With years devoted to the underground, Psyaatri crafts sets that feel less like performances and more like lucid journeys—warping time, bending perception, and opening subtle portals through sound.

⚡ Brace yourself. The ritual begins now. ⚡

A LIVE PAINTING alchemizing the vibez of the trancefloor at Psychedelic Circus
Hosted by @galatevents @dj_psyaatri_chillom @theecstaticguyy

Thank you so much for the opportunity to paint and creatively amplify the event— it means the world to me to connect and vibe with all of you! My PsyFam 🥰

This piece is a psychedelic reflection of connections;

Connecting ideas, connecting beings, collective ecstatic bliss on the dancefloor, and connecting to OneSelf. The MAGIC that happens when we gather in collectivity

Connecting root words and themes to the same fun-da-mentals (circle, circus, and circuit all come from the same source). Being playful with the understanding that everything is connected 💫

A circuit is what connects electrical currents. The pulsating energy that lights us up!

A circus is a playful entertaining performance and story that show the feats of the human body, mind, and spirit

A circle is a shape that’s integrated into everything in the Universe, and symbolizes the cycle of life force energy

I don’t have it all put together into a logical explanation, I am too earthly to define the Great Mystery— nor is it my place to understand the story in whole. But I hope this resonates ✨

Every artwork made is simply another piece to the grand puzzle.

Thank you so much @darkxel.music.official for visiting Canada and braving the cold. Your music is transcendent! ✨✨✨

Thank you to each and every trancer in attendance. I loved our conversations and shared reflections. I love the energy you bring to the dancefloor!

@nomadtorontoofficial_ please turn on the heat next time, we were freezing! Inhumanly cold 🥶

Gratitude
