So much to say about this weekend. I love the thrill of competition, even knowing it could result in heartbreak. It’s all beautiful and part of the process. I wanted more for Jude, I just feel he deserves it so much. I’m so proud of Noah for making it to a stage he’s never been on and putting himself out there. I’m so incredibly grateful for my athletes and loved being matside for their success. Getting to coach our kids, side by side, with my ride or die @niels_snyder is beyond special. It’s only because of my boys’ and my athletes’ hard work and effort that I get to have these experiences and even though the disappointments seem enormous I know that the journey is the real thrill and having a front seat to see these kids come up short, learn, develop, and still continue the grind is the true gift. I love this sport 🖤🩶, I love my teams ❤️💜, and I love all these kids and families we get to be on this journey with. It’s everything all at once and it’s just the biggest privilege ever. @dragonfly_girls_wrestling @ud_youth_wrestling @udhs_girlswrestling

Holiday spirit in the air. Thanks to @jarn7147_ keeping me on point with some new eye wear (replacing my five year old COVID era specs). Then topping the day off with the elementary school orchestra concert featuring my favorite violinist and violist.

Happy Father’s Day to the man who does it all — Dad to five incredible boys, coach on the wrestling mat, calm in the storm as an ER doctor, and dedicated triathlete — your grit, heart, and steady presence shape our family every day.

You lead by example — showing our boys what it means to work hard, push limits, and love without conditions. Whether you’re lacing up for a race, saving a life in the ER, or coaching from the corner of the mat, you give it everything you’ve got.

All we have is because of you! Happy Father’s Day 🖤👨‍👦‍👦🏥🤼‍♂️🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

OYNB day 339. Day 2 of 3 ✅. Thought going into the day, “be strong and centered.” Overall 1-2 for the day but grateful I could share at least one win to match two of my sons who wrestled today. Humbled with the wrestling community and sportsmanship. Honest competition. Little moral victory for the hard work and woot-woot for all those 42-year-olds out there.
Day 1 of 3 - Weigh in ✅
Level 1 Goal:
- Day 2 of 3: toe the line ✅
- Day 3 of 3: toe the line
Level 2 Goal:
- Day 2 of 3: wrestle smart ✅
- Day 3 of 3: finish LoveRun 2025
Level 3 Goal:
- Day 2 of 3: raise a hand ✅
- Day 3 of 3: finish LoveRun at 1:44:53 (8 min/mile)

Jude was selected for the Zone 4 ICWL dual team at 95lbs, out of 13 other teams in zone 4. Their team went head to head in 16 weight classes against the 3 other ICWL zones. He went 3-0 on the day, 🧷-MD- 🧷 He helped zone 4 come out on top, getting 1st place 🥇 @icwl_wrestling @ud_youth_wrestling
