We were stoked to be part of hilltop.mtb 's Women Leading the Way biking workshops in North Van & Squamish — an awesome initiative giving Sea to Sky women the space to level up their skills and ride with confidence.

After a workshop, they hit the trails hard (fueled by burritos, obviously) 🌯💪🚴‍♀️

Join us November 19th for our. Movember Madness community ride.

Movember is a great time to unite in bringing awareness to men's mental health, prostate and testicular cancer. Riding together allows us to connect with the forest, mountains, and each other, providing a healthy outlet in many ways. Creating that chance for the chat you didn't realize you really needed, getting some exercise and enjoying some two wheeled adventure and fun. Let's get together and go ride some bikes!

Post ride, we'll enjoy some hot chocolate and treats back at the Hilltop Tent at GHE!

Moustaches are encouraged and all riders ages 10+ are welcome!

Can't grow your own moustache? No problem, we'll have some on-hand for our keenest moustache supporters who want to show their support.

Important Information:

Ride Level: Novice and above for 19+ rider / Intermediate and above for youth

Safety: Helmets are mandatory for all participants

Registration: Please RSVP to secure your spot - $5 min donation - all net-proceeds go to the Squamish Fire Rescue Movember fundraising effort.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to take part in a great ride for a great cause!

A quick look into the glamorous world of trail maintenance. Seldomly shared, but this is an ongoing activity, cyclical in nature. This can get very repetitive, as the forest sheds truckloads of debris down on the trail network constantly. #supportyourlocaltrailbuilders

The smell from this big old fir stump was amazing and the wood was hard and sappy. This is a look back to 2016. This was a completely self funded by rebuild of lower Half Nelson. Tag a friend that loves to ride Half Nelson. Thanks for following along through all these years and welcome to all our new followers! #green #fir #instagood

Words cannot express how stoked I am to have been riding with these amazing ladies this season. Our journey to our first Enduro race was captured in an episode of Here. There. Everywhere - Racing for the Next 7 with @mirandamillermtb and will be screened this fall at the VIMFF Canadian Bike Night !

Jaime Hill of HILLTOP MTB has been working with IWO since 2020 focusing, initially, on certifying IWO members as MTB instructors and guides. 2022’s Crankworx event was a catalyst for several of the members of the mentorship cohort to express a desire to race. Less than a year later, the team takes on the Sturdy Dirty!

“The Seventh Generation Principle is an indigenous concept originating from the Haudenosaunee (also known as the Iroquois Confederacy), in which you think about the next seven generations coming after you in your words, work, and actions; and to remember the seven generations who came before you.

We are not racing for us, we are challenging ourselves to lead our youth for the next seven generations.”

Fixing up these old Squamish classics is a favourite past time. Thanks to Coast Mountain Academy and RSTBC for the extra hand!
