Not even a sickness could stop me from coming to my show! Gotta thank my girl who brought me rice that helped some. Still not 100% but an improvement from the past few days. And big thanks to all the performers that came out! You all sounded great, and it was good to get out at least for a little bit. I hope to see you all at the next one January 12. Stay awesome and healthy my friends 🤘

But men should be saying, 'We can do anything that women can do.'" ~ Gloria Steinem Wednesday, December 3, 2025 Springwater Supper Club Nashville, Tennessee Steinem? I hardly know 'em... but seriously, folks. Men certainly should be saying, "We can do SOME of the things that women can do." But tonight there were women among our ranks who may have had powers beyond those of our men: + John Lomax III sang about a virgin sturgeon, need I say more + Buz & Kasia (or Kasia & Buz) brought out their holiday cheer + Tony unveiled a brand spankin' new mando tune ala laundromat + Kolt played a beautiful homage to his beautiful fiancée (sp?) + Colin did a new one! What a gift to hear a song that's so new + Melinda likened our dear prez to a reindeer and we likened it + J. Kontur did standup AND music & is twice the showman for it + Matt Awesome did a brand new piece he literally JUST finished + Jon Lipshaw somehow kept the guitar playing with zero hands! + Beaux produced at least 6 of him in the speakers at one time + Willie did a new tune he's working on and it definitely rocks + Jack pulled a disappearing act! Jact! Ack! Come bact! Jack!!! + Taylor made his Wednesday night debut, and fit in perfectly + Tennessee Michael also made his Wednesday debut! Nice tunes + Mean Dean made me go hmmm about his extracurricular activities + Rosie has a new song coming our Friday! Everyone go presave it + Eric pontificated on the art of heckling and then sang sweetly + Joaquin broke hearts but soothed our eardrums at the same time + Chris The Sappy Poet showed off his lexicon and also was funny + Lauren read something extremely racy and we're still blushing + Pan snuck one in before security caught him and kicked him out + Our weird host did a quiet song and literally caused a riot... A wild welcome to our three newcomers (Taylor Burke, Tennessee Michael, and Rosie Murphy), welcome back to the returning champions (see Notebook Of Infamy photo for names), and see you all next Wednesday. #thespringwater #writersatthewater #keepnashvillegnarly

(1 of 3) "Rational thinking has its limits." ~ David Byrne Wednesday, November 26, 2025 Springwater Supper Club Nashville, Tennessee Lucky for us, giving thanks doesn't require any rational thinking. In fact, sometimes the world is pretty scary. Those times, being irrationally creative or optimistic can be a true superpower. Just ask the Thanksgiving 2025 crew from the Springwater: + John Lomax III brought the stuffing, A Cappella style + Buz & Kasia cooked up a nice big bird (no not Big Bird) + Jon Lipshaw looped some mashed pomashed pomashed poma + John Allingham & Josephine dueted? Doed-et? Did it. + S. Flower sang some cranberry sauce shaped like a can + Tim pulled it all together & all the rest was gravy + Mitchell went dark but the turkey forgives him right? + John Kontur sent us to the gulag to learn gratitude + Daniel was studio perfect like a Norman Rock(very)well + Eric had folks calling for SECONDS but James is mean + Trey sounded like Sam Cooke got James Blunt preggo + Justin & Tony put sweet potatoes into the sonic oven + Tony & Justin took the potatoes out and served 'em + Peyton called for the restoration of Slide Burns + Clean Dean was really not very clean at all! By golly + Jonathan Mark Williams was succinct and poignant + Chris was like pumpkin pie -- sweet but also savory + Pan Horus sang one with SPRINGWATER in the chorus + Josh stopped in to claim his spot on the throne + Sara was a word slinger but also a community builder + Our weird host did one about ...leaving Nashville? + Lauren flew in to close us out in deep thought ( + and then we had time for a QUICK JMW second song! ) A grateful welcome to our two newcomers (Joshua Haan, Lauren Dzeda), welcome back to the returning champions (see Notebook Of Infamy photo for names), and see you all next Wednesday. #thespringwater #writersatthewater #keepnashvillegnarly
