The past is never truly dead. It dances amongst us. In the shadows of warehouses, beneath the flicker of strobes, through the thunder of machinery, something ancient continues to stir. We have always gathered. Around fires, beneath the stars, in the ruins and forgotten corners of cities. Adorning ourselves, shedding our skins, summoning new possibilities from the darkness. The rituals change. The impulse remains. Queer nightlife carries its own ghosts. Generations of outsiders, visionaries, misfits and beautiful monsters who carved out worlds where none were offered. Who turned necessity into culture, resistance into art, and the body into an instrument of transformation. Their histories are written into our movements. Their defiance echoes through the bass. And we are still writing the next chapter. INFERNO was born from that same refusal to accept the limits of the world as it was handed to us. A collision of techno, performance, club kid culture and radical imagination. Somewhere the ancient and the futuristic, the sacred and the grotesque, the political and the gloriously ridiculous could exist together. Because the future isn’t something we simply wait for. It’s something we conjure. With every new face, every impossible creation, every body finding the freedom to become something beyond expectation, we glimpse another world taking shape. And as the veil between worlds begins to thin, we invite you to join us once again. To honour the ghosts. To awaken the monsters. To dance with the unknown. THE RED SUMMER COMES TO A CLOSE. 🔥☀️ For the last six months, INFERNO has been experimenting. A new team. Smaller rooms. More regular gatherings. Day parties. New ways of being together at a moment when the world outside has felt increasingly heavy. We listened when you told us you wanted to gather more often. We listened when you asked for more parties in the daylight. And so, the Red Summer began. We met each other in the spirit of INFERNO, but under different skies. We danced while the sun was still up. We tried things. We learnt things. We welcomed new faces and found new ways of connecting with familiar ones. And honestly, it has been fucking beautiful. The Red Summer was an experiment in what INFERNO could become without losing what makes it INFERNO. We are creatures of perpetual evolution after all. This Saturday is our final chance to gather in the daylight before we plunge down into autumn and winter, back towards the darkness, sweat and transcendental energy that has shaped us for the last 11 years. But we are not going backwards. We’re carrying everything we’ve learnt this summer with us. INFERNO has never been one fixed thing. As we move towards 2027, we want to keep exploring the strange, unending, labyrinthine possibilities of what it can be, on the dancefloor and far beyond it. One last dance beneath the Red Summer sky. Looking back at the fire of our @londontranspride afterparty. ❤️‍🔥 And now, we’re almost ready to do it all again. This Saturday, 29 August, we return for the next instalment of RED SUMMER. An absolutely wild line-up. Sunlight pouring over skin, bass vibrating through bone and muscle, queer bodies folding into one another in glorious, sweaty disarray. A day of losing yourself in sound, heat and collective euphoria, where strangers become friends, friends become family, and everyone’s eyeliner eventually gives up. And what better way to warm up for Body Movements Festival on Sunday, where we’ll be continuing the celebrations and Mother Lewis G. Burton will be taking to the decks. It’s shaping up to be one hell of a weekend. And here’s the thing: Buying a ticket is an act of support. You’re not just buying entry to a party. You’re supporting queer nightlife, an all-trans team of creators and curators, artists, performers, DJs and the infrastructure we’re building around them. 🔥 The fire still burns. 🔥 What happened on the dance floor after London Trans+ Pride didn’t begin when the doors opened, and it didn’t end when the lights came up. It was another chapter in a story our people have been writing for generations. Bodies in motion. Sweat as ceremony. Bass as heartbeat. Smoke, steel, skin and sound folding into one another until something ancient met something yet to be imagined. We’re often taught to see ourselves as individuals. But moments like this remind us we’re something else entirely: an ecosystem. A living network of care, memory, resistance and desire. Every person carrying a spark. Every encounter feeding the fire. Every dance adding another thread to a tapestry stretching from those who carved out space before us to those still finding their way home. There is something alchemical about gathering like this. Grief becoming movement. Fear becoming joy. Strangers becoming kin. The dance floor becoming a place where new futures can be rehearsed together. To everyone who danced with us after London Trans+ Pride: thank you. You brought ferocity, tenderness and a kind of magic that can’t be manufactured. You reminded us that queer and trans culture isn’t only something to protect. It’s something that continues to evolve, invent and transform. Now we step through another portal. On 29 August, we return for the second day rave of the Red Summer. Our first daytime rave in eleven years revealed something unexpected. Under the open sky, time stretched, conversations lingered, and the dance floor breathed differently. We left knowing daylight offers its own kind of transformation.
