Putting a patch work on a denim is quite famous. But Working on Levi’s 501 vintage, it’s is the rage man . It is the ultimate original jeans, And I think from an industrial point of view, it's the most user tested piece of human clothing ever worn. Its straight leg, regular waist, and enduring appeal will truly never go out of style. Of course, the main leg up Levi’s has on its competitors is a big differentiation point: They literally invented the modern jean.

It's become the must-have of anyone who cares about fashion and denim.

The Inspiration behind this pair of jeans are drawn from a Levi’s Collab with Junya Watanabe !

Shout out to @xclusivelabs for working the idea on the iconic 501 and creating this close to a master piece.

1. _Selvedge Denim_

Selvedge or Self - Edge or Finished edge is higher quality denim woven on old school shuttle looms with one continuous thread, which makes it stronger and more rigid.
It is often spotted on the cuffs of the jeans. The selvedge on denim is usually white and often has colored yarn in the middle.
Before 1950's all denim used to be selvedge, due to increase in demand for jeans and denim, denim producers switched from shuttle looms to projectile looms in which they were able to produce denim in more efficient and cheaper way.
"In the name of efficiency and cost selvedge denim started to die"
In 1970's and 1980's Japanese brands started to source old shuttle looms and manufacture selvedge denim. Till now Japan is the premium selvedge denim manufactures.

• In picture 3 the belt loop shows the selvedge which signifies that the pair is made up of premium denim which makes it unique .
• Picture 4 shows the difference between Selvedge edge and Non selvedge edge.

They say details is all that matters.
This LEVI'S X LEGO trucker jacket is full of details.
Colorful styles inspired by inventive LEGO. Almost every piece of clothing (including leather patch near neck is replaced with red LEGO tab) is customisable, you get a package of LEGO dots, with which you can make your own unique design and wear it around.
The metal buttons are replaced with the LEGO plastic buttons.
The red LEVIS tab which is usually made with cloth is replaced with rubber and embossed LEVIS.

So, I found this pair in a big bag [a treasure bag] of old clothes. At first when I saw this pair I thought it is a random normal jeans, then later I thought ok, let me check out the jeans. When I took the pant in hand I found out it is a pair of EVISU, then I checked out the tag near hip and found it is my size. I was like "What was I gonna sleep on this pair?".
I was so happy [Iam happy even right now Lol].
Made my day tho!
