After 27+ years in the Army, I’m officially on retirement leave! Hello, I’m Brent hill — owner of @willie_petes_baits

For the past several years, while building Willie Pete’s Custom Baits, I’ve always been a little cautious about what I posted and how I presented myself on social media. When you wear the uniform, you understand that what you say and do can represent more than just yourself.

Well… that chapter is closed.

It’s time to let my hair down a little — what’s left of it anyway — and show you more of who I really am and what Willie Pete’s is all about.

You’re going to see a lot more behind the scenes:

What a GREAT event!

Today’s Customer Appreciation Day was an incredible success! It was a day filled with seminars, fishing stories, tip swapping, pictures, great deals, discounts, giveaways, food, and plenty of fun.

The Lucky Lure Tackle staff put this event together as a way to thank our loyal and amazing customers for your continued support. What it turned into was something even more special—an old-school fishing event that reminded us all why we fell in love with this sport in the first place.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. Your support means the world to us.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our incredible vendor partners who donated products, giveaways, and their time to help make this event possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you for making this one of the best Customer Appreciation Days we’ve ever had. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
