very late on this post but HD016 with @hipster.disco was too good to not recap. played a solo set in room one (slide 4) then ended the night with a legendary b2b with @__dogfood in room two💫

big ups to everyone who bought a ticket and kept the energy going as well as everyone involved to make the night incredible🙏🏻

Juketeenth Pt.3 [Full Frame]
Juke, Baby, Jit. Grand Rapids. The City that sits between Chicago and Detroit with a hidden love for dance.

I dance, you dance, we all dance. #Juketeenth was more than a dance party. It was resistance in motion. Remember y'all, be black and proud. Be brown and proud. Be who you are and love thy neighbor as you love yourself. And always remember. #allmusicisblackmusic I love y'all 🫶🏼 Stay Mellow

#Juketeenth PT1 at @sectionlive was a huge success and I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to put together a show that highlighted electronic and black music in a different way than Grand Rapids is used to. We brough #detroit and #Chicago to the city that sits right in the middle and made people dance. Im eternally grateful to @shonuffboogie @devadidit @__dogfood and @whosjmt for being a part of my first event and set that I've organized at the Mint. From spinning in the basement to bringing Detroit greats to spin for my community, I feel like my progress in this is only thanks the family I've created over the past 3 years. Remember, #allmusicisblackmusic I love y'all and can't wait til the next one. More photos and videos coming soon. Thank you to @underthespotlightcreatives for the first photo dump of the week and for always being an ally in our community 🙏🏼

We host events of all types and sizes. Last month we had @hipster.disco take over the entire upstairs at SILVA and it was SO fun! Looking to host an event? Email events@silvagr.com with your idea or gathering!
