@potat_oh_chip and @hirentattoos are doing a FREE flash day Saturday (with a donation to charity of your choice) and I get excited when good people do good things so obviously I offered to feed people while they wait. And I’m collecting clothes on behalf of @cincipec while I’m there! Coming to get a tat? Bring your laundered clothes you’re ready to part with! Not getting a tat and just want to donate clothes? Bring them! Our friends at CPEC will find a home for them with someone in our community in need.

Flash day starts Saturday at 11am, The Decorated Body in Pendleton.

We had planned on releasing some of these photos to remind you to vote for us in the City Beat best of, but it seems like they’ve removed Best Tattoo Shop as a category! Although that’s a bummer, we’ll still be making fun tattoos.

Now that we’ve finally got our matching track suits, a wholesome day of a department store family photo shoot was called for.

We’re so thankful to have all of these folks here at the Decorated Body. Each one of them brings something special to this place. The life, love and energy is all because of these folks working hard to make it so.

And of course, none of us could be doing any of this without all the love and support you pour back into us. Thank you so much for making our little dream studio a reality that we can work towards each and every day.

Hello folks!

We had a lot of fun hosting art nights in our studio last year, and we’d like the tradition to return this year. We’ll be sharing dates for art nights in this post for 2026. Below will be the first three. Starting at 7pm-midnight, we’d love to have you come by and hang out with us to make some art.

Paint, draw, work on your tattoo drawings and kick it. We’ll have drinks and snacks as always, so come hang out with us and make some art.

Tattooers, clients, friends all welcome.

Can I buy my ticket for next year?
Because that was SO FUN!

Cuisine Art Cocktails at @cincycac has figured out the secret to an amazing event… invite artists!!!

I was greeted before I even walked in the door by @skatedowntowncincy showing off some fabulous skate dance moves outside!! It got me instantly hyped!!

Then walking in to DJ @natjooones raising the vibrations made me want to start dancing immediately!

Making rounds for the food was its own adventure too! Cincy’s restaurants have so much to offer, and it felt like they were all there that night! Special shoutout to @theaperturecinci & @starlightdoughnutlab who were my favorites! They probably got annoyed with how often I came back for another sample! :) And @noche_covington for the best espresso martini I’ve ever had!!

After snacking my fill, I also got to fulfill a dream I’ve had for a while… getting a tintype portrait taken!!! The second I saw @bluecreektinworks I knew I had to get in line, and omg they did NOT disappoint! I’m so, so, so excited to receive my ye olde-style portrait!

From amazing tattoo artists inking people right at the event to the live painters, the artists were in glorious form. But I did not have “getting part of my soul healed” on my bingo card when I went to see @jesslambband and @siri_imani
Seriously! Can I just go back and listen to them sing forever!?! I’m pretty sure I added a year to my life from the vibrations they raised in just a couple of songs!

And of course we ended the night with a dance party led by the ICONIC @djboywife 🩷 No one knows how to get a crowd ready to move quite like them!!!

What I’m really saying is… can we do this every month!? That was ridiculously fun!
Thanks so much @ponesinc for bringing me as your date—you know just how to make people feel celebrated! 💖
