My friend @hiro_beachi showed me one of the most impressive Patek Philippe complications ever made 💎

The Ref. 5004P brings together two of haute horlogerie’s most prestigious complications: a split-seconds chronograph and a perpetual calendar, all housed in a timeless platinum case.

What makes this example even more striking is the black dial with baguette-cut diamond hour markers, adding another level of rarity and presence to an already legendary reference.

At its heart is the manually wound Caliber CHR 27-70 Q, a movement that helped define an extraordinary era of complicated Patek Philippe watchmaking.

Platinum. Perpetual calendar. Rattrapante chronograph. Baguette diamonds. 💎

This is Patek Philippe at another level.

@hiro_beachi showed me one of the most extraordinary Grand Complications ever created by Patek Philippe. ✨

The legendary Ref. 5016, presented here in yellow gold with a dramatic black dial and a matching full gold bracelet an exceptionally striking configuration of an already incredibly rare reference.

Introduced in 1993, the 5016 brings together three of traditional watchmaking’s most prestigious and technically demanding complications: a minute repeater, tourbillon and perpetual calendar. A retrograde date display and moonphase add even more complexity, all remarkably housed within a beautifully proportioned 36.8 mm case.

For eight years, the Ref. 5016 remained Patek Philippe’s most complicated wristwatch, before the arrival of the monumental Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002 in 2001.

One of the most distinctive details can be found just beneath the moonphase: “TOURBILLON 5’000’034” the individual movement number proudly displayed on the dial, one of the fascinating signatures associated with the Ref. 5016.

What makes this example even more captivating is the full yellow-gold bracelet. It completely transforms the character of the watch, giving this highly sophisticated Grand Complication an unexpectedly powerful presence on the wrist.

The Ref. 5016 is already the kind of Patek Philippe most collectors will only ever encounter in books, auction catalogues or private collections.

Seeing one is rare. Putting one on the wrist is something else entirely. ✨

@hiro_beachi showed me his extraordinary Ref. 5078P “Breguet Hand Special”
This special piece unique has been created in 2014 to commemorate the first Patek Philippe VIP Tour for Japanese clients.

What immediately sets this unique piece apart from the standard 5078P are its distinctive black Breguet-style hands, paired with a beautiful white enamel dial, Roman numerals and a platinum case.

Inside beats the automatic Caliber R 27 PS, powering one of Patek Philippe’s most prestigious complications: a minute repeater with cathedral gongs.

An incredibly discreet watch at first glance, but one with a story and configuration that make it truly exceptional.

At first glance, pure classical watchmaking. Look closer, and this RRCC II reveals just how special it really is.
Housed in a beautifully proportioned 38mm platinum case, this rare execution features a deep black Grand Feu enamel dial, contrasted by five baguette-cut diamond hour markers an unusually extravagant detail for Rexhep Rexhepi’s otherwise restrained aesthetic.

Inside beats the hand-wound RRCC02, offering approximately 82 hours of power reserve and one of the watch’s most fascinating complications: dead-beat seconds. The small seconds hand advances precisely once per second, while the zero-reset mechanism allows it to return instantly to 60 when setting the time.

Every detail reflects the philosophy behind Rexhep Rexhepi: traditional Geneva watchmaking, obsessive hand-finishing and contemporary execution.

The diamond-index version was produced as a limited series, making an already highly sought-after RRCC II considerably rarer.
