Today we visited Homeboy Recycling to see what happens to our e-waste after they pick it up! We were so pleased to see how much is repaired and reused, with so much care given to every item. For the low percentage of product that is recycled, Homeboy has found buyers within our country. Seeing circularity and job creation on this scale was exciting and gives me hope that we can educate the public to make sustainable choices and realize how important it is to use resources that have already been manufactured.

Stayed tuned for our video about our visit. And for dates of our next yard sale in the fall where we will be collecting e-waste (& more).
