What will you be doing this summer? Let us know in the comments! Pinnacle Brass members will be all over the country from Texas to Georgia to Kentucky to New York to North Carolina! Read below to find out exactly what we’re doing all summer!

Seth will be pursuing a music internship at Hillside Christian Church, and check out his new album with His Renown: Take Two, as well as another album coming out this summer!

Spencer will be attending and performing in the International Trombone Festival in Fort Worth with the WT trombone choir! He will also be attending the Southwest Trombone Symposium in Columbus, Georgia, competing in the tenor excerpt competition.

Jesse and Aubyn will be attending MasterWorks Festival in Campbellsville, Kentucky for a month! They will be studying under the Principal Trumpet of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Steve Franklin, Principal Trumpet of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Charles Pagnard, and retired Principal Trumpet of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and former U.S. Army Band member, Marvin C. Perry II.

Aubyn will also be attending the Eastman Trumpet Summer Institute: Orchestra and Military Band Audition Intensive in Rochester, New York! She will be learning from Eastman trumpet faculty, Wesley Nance and Andrew McCandless, as well as Principal Trumpet of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Micah Wilkinson, Principal Trumpet of the U.S. Navy Band, Christopher Sala, and Assistant Principal Trumpet of the U.S. Air Force Band, Kristopher Westrich.

And last, but certainly not least, Lucas will be attending the Brevard Music Center’s Low Brass Seminar in Brevard, North Carolina! Here, he will study under Principal Tuba of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra, Bethany Wise and Principal Tuba of the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, Cristina Cutts Dougherty.

We are so excited for all of the learning opportunities we have this summer and cannot wait to reconvene in the fall with all of our newfound knowledge. Stay tuned for snippets of our summer days!
