American singer/songwriter Jaydon McCrary, known mononymously as JayDon, has teamed up with Eric Hudson and Andrew “HitDrew” Clifton on potential new music for his upcoming project.

The production and songwriting duo are responsible for Mariah Carey’s “Infinity,” K. Michelle’s “Maybe I Should Call,” August Alsina’s “Don’t Forget About Me,” Trey Songz’s “Made to Be Together,” Elle Varner’s “Rover,” Keyshia Cole’s “Missing Me,” Justine Skye’s “Hard Work,” and Inayah’s “All Falls Down.”

Meanwhile, JayDon’s most recent single “Summer Nights” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Google Music and all other digital streaming platforms.

It was written by Filipino-Australian singer/songwriter Rini (credited as Justerini Sandoval) alongside Darius Coleman, Kenneth “KP” Paige and Bernard “Harv” Harvey, while production was handled by the latter two.

The song captures the vibe of closing out the season without regrets. Lyrically, it focuses on an intense, magnetic connection in a room where someone has to take control and make a move.

It is not clear yet whether JayDon will be releasing more standalone singles or whether his recent singles will be part of a full length album or EP from the artist.

JayDon debut extended play (EP), “Me My Songs & I,” was released on October 10, 2025, under mega/gamma. The 10-track project features production from Bernard “HARV” Harvey, Andre “Dre” Harris, and Blaq Tuxedo, offering a mix of smooth ballads and energetic, dance-driven songs focused on love and heartbreak.

T X Mando — Black Joy 🏆

Winner of the DIYer Independent Artist Song Contest.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you face different temptations.”

That's the heartbeat of Black Joy.

Joy despite the pressure.
Optimism despite the cultural hegemony.
A vibe despite what we've been through.
Because resilience is radical.

We believe emotional intelligence, healthy expression, and learning how to choose joy can help heal our community for generations to come.

Winning is appreciated.
The message is the mission.
For like minds.

Black Joy. 🌴🔊🏆

Part 1 from a critique from the indie legend DIYers. 🎙️

This time, the record is Black Joy. Produced by @therealsetrill and mix & mastered by @jrolla32okc

Joy ain’t just a feeling.

It’s resilience.
It’s choosing to be optimistic.
Choosing to be a vibe.
Choosing to rebuild despite what we been through.

In our community, that kind of joy is radical.

“Give the street signs, like metal flags, all my locs” is a triple entendres, give the street signs sets the bar, I read a quote that said “if the people are unwilling to overthrow a corrupt government, building a parallel society is the only dignified solution” so giving the street signs means building our own communities and naming the street signs, to direct ours in a way that’s good for us, “like metal flags” doubles on street signs cause street signs are like metal flags. “All my locs” triples on those because our locs represent a commitment to giving ours what we haven’t had, the space to heal from a world that has tried to stunt our collective, intellectual, and financial growth . . #BlackSeed #HipHop #IndieHipHop #TheNewEra #MajorLove
