This year is a huge year. You turn the big 6-0 and you retire as a firefighter. As a child and a teenager, I never thought the discipline I received would ever be recognized or thankful for. With that discipline came an unimaginable amount of love and support. With every stupid decision or action I some happened to make, you were always there for help or just some advice. I will be forever grateful for everything. Love you Pops.

My assumption is that no family is perfect. Ours has forsure had our ups and downs. But, through everything we still love each other. Climbing steep mountains in extreme heat, calling his family while being surrounded by fire, working 16 hour days 14 days in a row, and so much more. This guy makes sure to say good morning and good night, no matter how exhausted. We don't always see eye to eye. But I love this guy so much. It makes me so happy that his job recognizes his dedication and hard work as well. #santabarbaracountyfiredepartment

I know it's national dog day. But this guy right here turns a huge 33 today. I remember when my parents were our age and I thought we would never get there. Welp, came a whooooole lot faster than I thought. Hahahaha. @mrwitdaschitz

These two are the most solid pair anyone could have asked for. Never replaceable. The last pic is a writing from my niece. @darrolcrossland @nagatha_11crossland @mrwitdaschitz @cyriiah
