THIS IS HOW WE ROLL

Weekend recap of the @hitoneforhop, a Relay for Life golf scramble that started with 12 local teams on a 9-hole course in Carter County - and turned into 63 teams of friends and family that travel from all over the country to play in one of two (or both) flights on the beautiful Eagle Trace course at @moreheadstate!

We come together, year after year, to first and foremost honor the great John “Hop” Brown - husband • father • brother • uncle • friend • teacher • coach AND to make as big of an impact as possible on the fight against cancer. I think it’s safe to say we did just that on this year’s 14th anniversary - and we did it bigger and better than ever before!

The character limit here could never hold the number of names of the amazing humans who make this event what it is, but I’ll start with the ring leaders: @geradparker @sjbrown1953 @kandi_parker. If you’ve been to the scramble, organized a foursome, sponsored a hole, made a donation, volunteered on the course, and/or contributed in any other way, shape, or form, drop a ❤️. It takes a village - and we’re proud and privileged to have YOU be a part of this!

HIT ONE FOR HOP

14th annual golf scramble to fundraise for a GOOD cause in honor of a GREAT man, John “Hop” Brown! It’s the BEST DAY of the year - with some of the BEST PEOPLE we know. Follow @hitoneforhop for updates from the course (and the after party, of course)!

All proceeds from this @relayforlife event go to the @americancancersociety to improve cancer survival, decrease the incidence of cancer, and improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caretakers.

What special cause do you support?
