Well, after 4.5 years in the making, I guess it’s official. Appreciate the love @billboard 🥂

My name may be in the headline, but @hitskope is very much the product of the team behind it.

Hitskope actually started as a record label. After six years with Sony, we took everything we learned from that side of the business and evolved into an independent distribution and label services company built around a much bigger idea.

@kittwakeley and I partnered to build something different. Independent artists and labels shouldn’t have to choose between owning their careers and catalogs and having a real team behind them.

Distribution is just the foundation of what we do. The real work is everything around it. Artist development. Marketing. Publishing. Sync licensing. Release strategy. Career strategy. Problem solving. Actual human beings with high level experience who know the artist, know the catalog, know the goals, and know how all the pieces are supposed to work together.

There’s already plenty of companies that give you an upload button to get music onto Spotify.

We’ve built something much bigger than distribution. A full team with decades of major label experience, real infrastructure, resources, and strategy to help artists and labels turn releases into careers, catalogs into businesses, and momentum into actual leverage.

Really proud of what we’ve built, and we’re growing fast.

The song is over 20k streams in 2 days and has skyrocketed to the #1 spot on my Spotify Top Songs. We secured 22 playlist placements yesterday as an INDEPENDENT LABEL and DISTRIBUTOR @333recordings @hitskope @dannybarros4l — I am SO PROUD of our team!!
