Now it would be a sin not to ask the one and only Russell T Davies to sign the DVD cover and for a photo in a 'La' T-shirt, wouldn't it?

Designer @philipnormal raised a staggering £500,000 for @terrencehigginstrust with his white, black and neon pink 'La' T-shirts in 2021, with 'It's A Sin' starting conversations about HIV again and encouraging many to go for tests since its first broadcast on 22nd January 2021. Has it already been over 5 years ago now?!

In the meantime, we cannot wait to watch Russell's new drama 'Tip Toe' on Channel 4 with Greater Manchester's very own @gabriel_clark which depicts the challenges facing our community today ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🩵🤍🤎🖤

The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me over and out!

Wow! Firstly thank you to all the fantastic people who came out to support this incredible story. From my loved ones to complete strangers who shared their stories with me after shows, shared memories of those they'd lost and love, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

This whole project was such a huge challenge and so rewarding in so many ways. I feel so grateful to @daviddrakeproductions for trusting us with his words, to @adamzane_uk for his patience, specificity and support in every direction, @bracegirdlehannah00 for your beautiful sound design, @dlongdin for your incredible set, @dava_clara for lighting it all so wonderfully, @amaricreak for looking after me and the show and to @mcrmike and @hive_north for creating the space to create this story with the upmost respect, and a massive thank you to @alancummingreally and @granteepants for allowing me to explore New York City! 🍎

Thank you so much @sevendialsplayhouse and @hopemilltheatre for welcoming us into your theatres to bring this to life - it was such a privilege to be welcomed back into both theatres 🎭

And to all the activists who joined us for post show discussions, we owe you everything. Your work has shaped our lives today - @monica.b.pearl @danglassmincer @andria4_milly @petertatchell1 @georgehousetrust and @russelltdavies63 I love you all ❤️‍🔥✊️

A wonderful night at The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me at @sevendialsplayhouse at the invitation of the show’s Manchester producers, @hive_north.

@gabriel_clark is an actor new to me but he was hugely impressive as our guide on this rollercoaster trip from childhood innocence through the AIDS years.

The staging was simple but highly effective, powered along wit the soundtrack to my 20s.

Highly recommended - it ends tomorrow!

On top of 70 minutes of the most captivating, enchanting and multi-dimensional artistry honouring of our HIV+ and LGBTQIA+ ancestors to amplify our ongoing freedom - I really don't know how @gabriel_clark then facilitated the most enjoyable post show Q+A with @actup_london veteran campaigner @andria4_milly and myself.

@gabriel_clark's last question was 'What gives us hope to carry on campaigning?' and I reached into my bag because I brought a bunch of flowers to give to him - call me cheesy, a pansy, a drama queen and I'll take it all - but it really is the younger generation of deeply committed, curious artists, activists and change-makers like Gabriel Clark that keeps me going.

Alongside @petertatchell1 who joined us on stage there really was over 100 years of effective change-making experience on stage - and I felt it.

Huge love to @hive_north and all the production of 'The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me' at @sevendialsplayhouse which you can still catch until March 1st. Highly recommend. All the flowers.

ACT UP. FIGHT BACK. UNTIL THERE IS HEALTHCARE FOR ALL.

The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me returns to London at Seven Dials Playhouse, and it feels as urgent now as it must have in 1992. Written by Obie Award winner David Drake and directed by Offie nominated Adam Zane, this solo play traces one man’s journey through identity, community and a defining moment in queer history.

Gabriel Clark, known to many from Hollyoaks, carries the entire seventy minute performance alone. It plays from 17 February to 1 March 2026 at Seven Dials Playhouse.

5 performances left! Make sure you catch the play!

As my set design seems to get a mention in every 4 star review, I thought I’d share its genesis and journey

“Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder who you are.’

Caught ‘The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me’ at @sevendialsplayhouse last night.

One man, many lives - @gabriel_clark had us gripped from start to finish, slipping between boyhood crushes, messy lovers and fierce ACT UP style activism with ease. Funny one minute, gut-punching the next - a powerful reminder of the generations lost to AIDS and the joy and rage that survived.

A pleasure to attend and fundraise at @hive_north's gala performance of 'The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me', in support of George House Trust.

Performed by the incredibly talented @gabriel_clark and directed by George House Trust Ambassador and equally talented @adamzane_uk, the play itself is beautifully moving ❤️

And the whole evening was topped off by a conversation between George House Trust Patron, @russelltdavies63, and Gabriel Clark, covering a range of fascinating topics about the play, the LGBTQ+ community and Davies' upcoming show Tip Toe starring Clark ✨️

Thank you to everyone who donated to help our essential work supporting people living with HIV. You can still donate to George House Trust via the link in our bio!
