Wow, I don’t know where to start. The moment I stepped into my first TAM class, I knew I had found my home. Since that day I have spent 15 hours a week minimum in the sewing lab as a PLA for three years, TAM Social Media Assistant for one, and someone endlessly passionate about this program for all four. But none of that compares to what I found in these people. People who pour every drop of blood, sweat, and tears into their craft because they genuinely believe that what you wear is an extension of who you are. In one of the most competitive industries in the world, they still chose to lift each other up every single step of the way.

I never knew a group of people could make you feel so seen. So celebrated. So free to be exactly who you are without apology. This community taught me what real love looks like, and for the first time in my life I felt like I had truly found my people in every sense of the word.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love this program and will talk to you in any setting trying to get you to switch to this major..

Graduating feels impossible to put into words. But knowing I get to carry these friendships with me makes it a little easier. Crazy to think we’ll soon be spread all over the country, but something tells me this isn’t the last chapter. Whether that is in NYC, weekly drag brunches, or living out our Sex and the City dreams. The fashion world better be ready.
