I am now recovered from the festivities and exhilaration of the Winter Party Festival 2026. Miami, we set the bar high. Starting up the weekend with Abel was the perfect way to ignite the energy. A massive thank you to all of you who went on this progressive, underground, deep journey with us! I loved building the energy as the room filled—once that vibe took hold, the crowd’s reaction was off the charts and the intensity never let up. My partner in crime Abel followed suit and absolutely slayed the room. Thank you Hilton Wolman, Brett Henrichsen, and Abel for inviting me to be a part of RESIST! A massive shout-out to the Winter Party organizers, sponsors, and the entire production team—your passion and tireless effort behind the scenes are what make this possible. Bravo to every DJ who kept the momentum surging and brought their A-game to the decks, and of course, to the attendees who brought the magic and heart to the dance floor! It’s a powerful feeling to know that this experience fuels the National LGBTQ+ Task Force and their vital work in advocacy and community organizing. Supporting a future that empowers us all makes the celebration that much more meaningful.

Each week leading up to COME TOGETHER, we’ve spotlighted one of the incredible artists on our eclectic roster. This week, last but definitely not least: lighting director @geetheldee, Garito Hunt! Often the un-sung heroes of the dance floor, DJs often get the spotlight, but there’s another artist working behind the scenes who’s equally crucial to the experience. The “light man” doesn’t just flip switches, they read the room, anticipate the music’s emotional peaks and valleys and paint the dance floor with color. The music sets the story, but the lighting brings it to life. When both are on point , that’s when the night becomes unforgettable. I met Gary years many ago when I was producing parties at Santos Party House and we connected instantly. He’s passionate about his craft and cool as hell. Good Room winning DJ Mag’s Best Small Club in North America isn’t only about the music and space, Gary’s artistry is a huge part of what makes that room …well… good! Gary and I have had a long running inside joke for years: a disco ball should never look like it survived a windstorm. He knows. I hope he was thinking of me in the photo of him cleaning one! Gary also facilitated John Ceglia and I brining COME TOGETHER to Good Room in the first place , so we are very thankful to him for that. Can’t wait to share the night with him tomorrow! Love you Gary! COME TOGETHER TODAY!
