My third time running the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Run! This was my second time running the half marathon and my first ever race was their 10k in 2023. Looking to come back next year!

Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Run Half Marathon ✅. Didn't get the PR I was hoping for but still had a great time. I've been dealing with intermittent numbness in my feet with running the last few months possible due to some circulation issues with CHF (still trying to figure out what's going on!). I was hoping it wouldn't be a problem today but the numbness came on around mile 5. I tried to run through it but the numbness persisted and eventually just didn't feel safe trying to power through. So I just ran when I could and walked when my feet went numb. 2:12 finish isn't so bad all things considered!

As always thank you @dr.gabygo @gorunstronger. Even though my results haven't showed up on race day my last few races I'm super happy with my progress as a runner. I'm looking forward to training for the next race!

📻🎃 A HUGE Pumpkin Run Thank You to Our Race Partner, Half Moon Bay Amateur Radio Club! 🧡🏃‍♀️

They may not be running the race, but they're helping keep EVERY runner safe!

For many years, the dedicated volunteers of the Half Moon Bay Amateur Radio Club have served as our eyes and ears on the course, providing a vital communications network that helps keep the Pumpkin Run running smoothly and safely.

With hundreds of runners and walkers spread across miles of roads and trails, reliable communication is absolutely critical. Their expertise and vigilance give our race team the ability to respond quickly when every second counts.
