Recently I had the amazing and wonderful opportunity to attend Harvard Model United Nations Dubai 2026. As an international student consistently venturing through different fields and building upon my skills from the sci-fi room filled with robotics to the complex landscapes of politics to the wonders of academia. It was an eye opener event for someone like myself which gave me the exposure to many different ideas in an appropriate and engaging environment and for which I am grateful. Alhumdulilah

When I first started to get entangled in the arena of geopolitics and debating different ideas, it never passed by me that it would lead me upto here. It was just simply a little hobby of mine. It is said that it are the small actions which bring big changes in life . For me that small action was reading the biography of the man that I really look upon . Salahudien Ayubi R.A . From the time I read about his life and actions, it sowed a deep sense of change in me which lead to this moment . I truly hope that one day I will be able to implement the lessons I have learned from those who I look upon.

At the time of writing, the reigon has been plunged into a severe crisis causing a lot of stress to the people who live within the reigon. We all pray for peace and prosperity and protection of all those who reside in the reigon . Ameen.

ENG version🇬🇧
The International Bazaar at Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN Dubai) was a powerful reminder of what this conference is really about — global unity through culture.

Delegates from dozens of countries came together to present their traditions, national cuisines, music, symbols, and stories. Every booth was a conversation starter, every exchange a lesson in diplomacy beyond committee rooms.

✨ What stood out most:
• Authentic cultural representation by students themselves
• Real dialogue, curiosity, and respect between nations
• A vibrant atmosphere of diversity, friendship, and pride

For our students, this wasn’t just an activity — it was living diplomacy. The International Bazaar showed that understanding the world begins with sharing who you are.

Proud to be part of HMUN Dubai and to see our delegates representing their country with confidence and heart 🤍

What a weekend it has been! 👏🏻

Our MUN delegates made it to the Harvard MUN in Dubai, representing the nation of Lebanon. They spoke with confidence and determination and Rayyan Shah walked away with a Diplomatic Commendation 🙌🏻

This is an immense achievement; from participation, to the win itself, we are so proud of each of our delegates for their commitment and hard work!

The MUN experience is a high demand one, with limited time to research and prepare; often delegates are expected to speak on demand and to do so with authority and confidence is no easy feat. This speaks to the hours of preparation done on campus in the weeks and months leading up to such events.

Congratulations once again to Rayyan Shah and the rest of the delegates for representing @haqueacademy with such grace at @hmun_dubai

We are so proud!

Growth is a Choice
Rita Sanaa
Harvard Model United Nations Dubai.

Not every workshop leaves us learning,
and not every one is even enjoyable.

But sometimes, a workshop comes at exactly the right time.
Almost divinely arranged.
To teach you something new,
to wake you up,
or simply to tell you:
well done, you are on the right path.

Today, I attended a workshop titled
Growth is a Choice,
delivered by Rita Sanaa
as part of Harvard Model United Nations Dubai.

The most powerful takeaway for me was this:
changing your mindset is not a phase,
not a coincidence,
and not something you wait for.

Growth is a decision.
Maturity is a decision.
And development is a decision you make every single day,
especially on the days when no one is watching.

My message to you today:
If you feel stuck,
ask yourself honestly:
Have you chosen growth,
or are you still waiting for circumstances to choose for you?
