Catherine Lorent & Tom Früchtl

Guitar, drums, and vocals that defy all the rules of art and good behavior. New paintings and installations, built specifically for the space, and an evening where the gallery becomes a stage.

VOLT at Helmholtz Institute Berlin.
Art in a raw construction site, concrete walls, summer heat, and an inspiring mix of emerging and established artists.
Together with artists from different generations, I had the pleasure of exhibiting alongside students from the classes of Ina Weber and Manfred Peckl (UdK Berlin).
Congratulations to all participating artists for a strong exhibition and a remarkable transformation of an unfinished building into a temporary space for art.
Thanks for the conversations, the energy, and the reminder that great exhibitions don't need white walls.#dgibauwerk #helmholtzinstitut #volt #justineotto
