I don’t know anything about the breath work or the techniques for singing lol but I do know that singing makes me happy

Here’s the lyrics/poem
You may find that you might
fall
Behind
It’s ALL right
You will try
to get ahead
but instead
you’ll find
you are behind
But just then, when you’ve lost it all you’ll find
It’s all inside
It’s all outside
It’s all in sight
You’re of out of sight
You just look
Inside
You will find
Those behind
Lifting you
Who’s lifted you
Lifted you up
When you were so down
When you slowed down
And you found yourself surrounded by the people and places
Those Sweet little nothings
That could mean something big
To you
You
You are loved
Yea you are loved
Yea you are love
Yea you are
You are
You
And no matter what you do
No matter what you say
And you matter
You matter
Yea you

Lent has brought me something special.

I am not great. We are called to be grateful for what we have—yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Yet, the truth is that nothing we possess genuinely belongs to us. I saw this clearly during our journey in Harlan. Everything we're given in this world offers only temporary satisfaction. If we desire more, God asks us to surrender everything we cling to — all our worldly comforts and distractions. That might mean giving up simple pleasures like my favorite tacos or resisting the urge to scroll through Instagram endlessly.
During this season of Lent, He calls each of us to release our attachments and follow Him completely. It's easy to say but challenging because letting go of what makes us comfortable is never simple. It's like forcing yourself out of bed early — no one likes it, but choosing to change is always a challenge.
This Lent, choose Him entirely. Embrace the struggle because you're likely not pushing yourself enough if it feels effortless. Doing what is right is rarely easy, but let Him be your strength and friend.

I am not great, and I often struggle to choose what is right. So, Lord, lead me not astray and keep me close to Your side as I walk toward our true home — heaven. Be my guide when I walk in darkness, and help me let go of the worldly possessions that hold me back from following You entirely this Lenten season. Your great mercy and unfailing love strengthen me and help me stay on this journey.
Amen.

Matthew 19:21-24
Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to [the] poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When the young man heard this statement, he went away sad, for he had many possessions. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

These lovely Faith Beyond ladies were in attendance yesterday in this year's Women's Encounter, where a total of 114 amazing Catholic women ✨️ gathered to hear speaker @rachelbulman. May the Lord bless them 🕊 and allow them to take what they heard yesterday to strengthen their faith and inspire their daily lives. Let the seeds 🌱 of this encounter grow into lasting courage and devotion.
