Jahad Carter. I’m shocked, I’m hurt, I’m numb, I’m in disbelief, I’m sad & upset. I’ve never lost a close friend let an alone someone who was under our wing. Got damn boy you don’t even know how much you was loved… I’ve cried so much in the last 2 weeks then I’ve ever cried in my entire life.

33 years young, Christ died at 33 as your pop’s said at the funeral. He had some powerful words that morning that I took to the heart, i couldn’t even get up there to talk, I know I couldn’t have made it past a few words without emotions overcoming. My perspective on life has shifted within the last week.

Life is beautiful, life is short, life is precious, fragile, unexpected. Life has its ups and downs, life could be difficult, and it could be a dream + wonderful all at the same time. And life can be gone too soon. So much more to do… so much more to finish… One day your here and the next your not. Like my nigga @moruf88 said… love on your loved ones, take care of each other, check on yourself… but also check yourself! life is a gift.

Friday we cried, hugged, laughed, cried some more, celebrated your life, & all at the same time felt a sense of healing with seeing so much people in our community. Family from far came, friends from everywhere. You brung everyone closer, felt weird celebrating your life and YOU wasn’t there. Ima miss you lil bro, WE gonna miss you, Love you forever.
