The end of my culinary school era 🥲

When I first got to Agde, it wasn't what I expected and I thought what did I get myself into and wanted to go home. I thought 3 months would feel like forever. It passed by so quickly and by the end of it I didn't want to leave school and all the wonderful people I met. Initially, I had planned on working remotely in the afternoon and evenings after school but two weeks into the program I was suddenly laid off. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I feel I got to fully be present in my time in France. I don't know what's in store for me next but for now... funemployment!

It was a privilege to have been able to learn from Chef @fabrice.amar . Thank you for teaching us so many culinary techniques and sharing your knowledge (and agar agar 😂).

I'm certainly going to miss the days of all of us gambling a few extra minutes of sleep on the morning bus being late, getting pastries and desserts from patisserie class hustling their extras at lunch, relaxing by the beach and pool, going to chez fan fan for drinks and pizza (not missing those mosquitoes tho), making dinner for those coming back after afternoon classes, going all over the south of France on weekend trips, and living just a few doors down from everyone.

I'm so grateful to have had this experience and made so many core memories with you all. Thanks for the best time 🥹🥰
