A modern take on Tudor style, with deep navy cabinetry, warm walnut, brass accents and plenty of clean lines. The brass vent hood is the centerpiece of the kitchen, adding warmth and a little drama against the navy cabinetry. We carried the curves of the home’s door arches into the island, giving the kitchen a softer shape and tying the spaces together. Light white oak floors and a bright countertop keep the moody palette feeling open and inviting. 📸 @jacobhawkins.photography

The success of a space starts with communication.

Creating something that feels both functional and sophisticated relies on a constant exchange of ideas between me, my clients, and partners.

That’s why I’ve built that dialogue into every step of my process, creating space for inspiration to evolve and the best ideas to rise to the surface.

Deep navy cabinetry, a warm walnut island, and brass accents set the tone in this kitchen, with a fully brass vent hood making a statement at the center. Panel-ready refrigeration and integrated refrigerator drawers keep the cabinetry streamlined, while the scullery beyond adds another layer of function behind the scenes. 📸 @jacobhawkins.photography

A reminder that paint and cabinetry can completely transform a room. We kept the existing tub and tile in this attic bathroom and used a soft blue color drench to give the space an entirely new personality. 📸 @jacobhawkins.photography

After 20+ years of designing homes, I’ve found that the smallest details often have the greatest impact.

In this San Francisco kitchen and dining remodel choices were made not only for their beauty, but how how they’d support daily life.

Powder room reveal from our Modern Tudor project. We leaned into contrast in this small space, pairing a bold navy wallpaper with a graphic black-and-white floor tile for maximum impact. The custom curved vanity softens the geometric lines, while warm brass plumbing fixtures and sculptural pendants add a layer of warmth and shine. 📸 @jacobhawkins.photography

We were in the mood for a sunny day - and our beautiful hometown of San Francisco did not disappoint. With our friends @fireclaytile @hoffmanhardware @armadilloandco we celebrated #SFDesignWeek with friends in our beloved design community - and delightedly, we came away with some new pals, too! The wines from our friends @bestfriendsalbany were highly drinkable, and the spreads by @domainesf were delectable! We love getting together with you all. Thanks so much to all of those who joined us! 🌴🥰🥂

Have wanted to use this browny/green glass block for ages - typically if there is a material or fabric I like I’ll keep sliding it into presentations until someone bites! Love it as a room divider in this West Chelsea bathroom. 🛁🫧 PS - swipe for the before.😳
