🍷🐓 COQ AU VIN – NOW THAT’S A PROPER SUNDAY! 🔥

Oh yes, people! Everyone loves a good coq au vin!

Chicken, lardons, mushrooms, onions and a beautiful rich red wine sauce. What’s not to love?

We cooked the whole lot on the Kamado, adding a little sherry wood to give it that subtle smoky flavour. And WOW, did it work! 🔥

On the side? Buttery mashed potatoes and cheesy leeks. Absolute heaven! 🤤

And what does a meal like this need? Another bottle of lovely wine, obviously! 🍷😂

Big shout-out @hofshenley in Henley-on-Thames for the wine. Go and check them out!

Sundays are made for good food, good wine and taking your time.

Simple food, done well. That’s Cloke Cooks! ❤️

It got hot, it got sweaty. And a tad messy. But a glorious way to end Regatta 2026. Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now
