HOFSTRA 32’ 🦁💙💛

I am so beyond excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to Hofstra University to continue my athletic and academic career!

First, I would like to thank my family for all their support. Mom and Dad, thank you for the countless hours you’ve put into my lacrosse career, from driving me to practices and tournaments to always being my biggest supporters. Thank you to my older sister, Kailey, for being such a great role model, and to my younger brother, Kyle, for always cheering me on. A special thank you to my dad for not only being my biggest supporter but also being the best coach I could ask for.

Thank you to my Bayport and Legacy coaches, Gick, Maloney, McGinn, and Jensen, for pushing me to be my absolute best. I appreciate everything you guys have done for me!

Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Levy, Coach Miceli, and Coach Pavineli for giving me this opportunity! I can’t wait!

GO PRIDE! 🦁💙💛 @hofstra_wlax

At Hofstra, the No. 27 has carried the legacy of late lacrosse player Nick Colleluori for more than two decades. After passing from cancer, Nick's number became a reprsentation of the dedication, selflessness and grit he embodied. Now, for the first time, that tradition is extending to the women’s lacrosse program.

Senior captain Christine Dannenfelser will become the first woman to wear No. 27, carrying Colleluori’s legacy into a new generation of Pride lacrosse.
