🥹ya’ll
thank you for allowing me the space on your timeline to ask for help w/ the release of my documentary

the way my community has shown up for me
has blown me away and touched me deeply
it has been an embodied experience of mycelial connection
the sharing of valuable resources that are keeping me alive
and moving forward

Thank you everyone who contributed, shared, commented on my posts or linked me with aligned companies for the release of my doc

Im sending out hand written poems as thank you’s for your contributions this week
now that we are winding down on crowd funding :)

Sadly, we did not get into TIFF, a festival that would have opened many doors, however there are multiple entrances to the places the film wants to go— so, onward!

With your contributions I was able to pay my online editor, colonist, sound mixer and subtitle/closed captioning making it completely ready to be seen and felt at aligned festivals, conferences, and online screenings with mission-based organizations — Plus! we were able to submit to three other festivals as we find the perfect spot to premier.

So thank you!! Thank you so much. My heart dances!!

I Will keep you guys updated as things move along :)

ps. I’ve returned to writing on substack and podcasting about things that Ive been learning on my journey back to ancestral reconnection, as a birth/death doula, having a late-blooming queer awakening, and the mysticism present in all things—

You can follow the Podcast and Substack at the link in my bio @dayle.mcleod

Love you guys! til next time...✨

Words can't describe how long I've waited for this day (23 months) but I can say I am very proud of myself for sticking with the ExPD Program. My body has benefited so much and so has the amount of friends I have in the community! Thanks to everyone who helped me physically and mentally! On to the next million (sorry if I didn't tag you, long list) #expd #adaptiverowing #milestones
